Excellent professional service from start to finish. Everything for Dads funeral was taken care of. Everything was arranged perfectly. They were such a great help through a difficult time. I would also like to thank Paul, who was amazing throughout.
My partner Kyle passed away in October and due to the way he passed alot of funeral directors were stating I would not be able to say goodbye to him or see him in the chapel. This was important to me. As soon as I spoke to Steve at Tovey Bros he reassured me by saying we will make him look respectful whether you see him or not we will make him look his best. I was able to see him and kiss him goodbye which meant so much. Kim was also great and handled everything while Steve was away she helped me do the photo tribute and even came to see me the day before his funeral to see how me and my son were such care is rare. They handled his funeral with the greatest of respect Steve walked before his car. And looked after me his friends and family even his little girl who is only 2. I cannot thank them enough for what they done for my loved one. I would recommend them to anyone especially those that have lost a loved one to suicide and need to say goodbye.
Truly exceptional care and attention to detail from the first meeting to the actual celebration of life at Langstone Vale 16.12.2022, for my father Rex Norman King. Steve Gillett in paricular went that extra mile, and his thoughtfulness touched our hearts. Tovey Bros. Funeral Directors have been the funeral director of choice for my family for as long as I can remember, they took care of both of my grandparents funerals & as I say other family members throughout the years also, so when my late mother sadly passed away suddenly in 2020 it was a no brainer that again Tovey Bros were going to be the funeral director or choice, sadly due to covid & the restrictions that came with it we couldn’t have a funeral like we’d of wished, there were a lot of restrictions & with numbers only 5 of us we weren’t able to have a family car either, however James & his team were fantastic, from bringing mum home, the service itself and the care before & afterwards were second to none, nothing was too much trouble such professionalism they really did do a wonderful job. Recently in October 2022 my father sadly passed away, this was also a no brainer that Tovey Bros. Funeral Director was going to be the Funeral Director of choice, again James & his team done a wonderful job. Their understanding and professionalism helped us through a difficult time, The compassion shown in such difficult circumstances was such a comfort. Dads Service was just what we wanted: from bringing Dad home, to taking us to the crematorium, then onto the wake you showed such professionalism. Thank You Again

Simply thank you does not seem enough for the kindness, empathy and appreciation that efficiency is what eases the burden of arranging a funeral when it is the last thing you feel like doing. The amazing team at Tovey Bros. led by James made my late husbands funeral a special occasion which ran like clockwork. The Tovey Brothers is the best funeral home in Newport / South Wales. Extremely professional, compassionate and personable. They make a difficult day for a family go smoothly. We are so delighted with the whole procedure. All staff, in whatever capacity, were thoughtful and kind. At the services all staff blended discreetly into the background until required to show an appropriate lead. No matter what we requested, it was handled with efficient professionalism and guidance. We were spoke with gently but leaving no mistake as to what was agreed and chosen. Emails and telephone conversations were regular and thorough. We received assistance with delicate matters, had attention beyond a regular service and the ability to record in church totally completed a service surely not beaten anywhere. Thank you.
