It's very sad that I have to rate a Cemetery 1 star. I don't understand how close to each grave, the souls have been buried? It's a health and safety issue to even locate the grave? So much concrete literally next to each other. Aren't Muslims suppose to be free and not covered with all of that concrete? You can just about get your footing in the space. It's like the previous owners didn't care and only thought of obtaining more finances as they buried people. Horrible place to be laid to rest. The Cemeteries that my Dad and daughter are sleeping in are so much nicer... adequate space and very tranquil and peaceful.
My grandfather, my grandmother's sisters, brother, and some of their children are buried here. I visited the cemetery on the 22nd of April 2022. I noticed the improvements that Peter had carried out since buying the cemetery 3 years earlier. ALL the trees and plants around EVERY single grave had been cleared FULLY. For the first time, I could see the full layout of the graves, and it looks organised compared to before when they appeared to be all over the place. I was here again on 24/06/2024 and can say the new owners have made even better improvements. I took photos this time I was here. The improvements made and planned are shown at the entrance. I thank the past owner, Peter, and the current owners for their continued improvements and maintenance of this cemetery.
Bereavement is a time when you need support help and guidance. Just lost promenant family member and This New Management helped to sort burial flawless. Mustafa was an excellent organiser. Digging grave was sorted out without even visiting. After burial grave was completed with stones and plaster within minutes of departure of family. Full marks and 10 stars. Also, Duas for new management for fantastic service and care for whole Burial process. For a small fee, you can get an access card even after hours a day. The same card allows for toilet facilities.
Tottenham park cemetery The two stars are for the improvements by the new owners only. I have been to several cemeteries in various boroughs in London and this is by far the worst kept. Whilst some visible improvements have been made by the new owners in the entrance area, the rest of the cemetery is unkempt and neglected. Badgehurst one of the previous owners were very questionable. In my experience, I have witnessed one grave shockingly with wrong name put on it, no doubt the relatives were deceived by the last cemetary owners. There are several graves that appear to be double buried. Over the many years I have been visiting the cemetery, on one occasion, my father’s headstone and surround was moved and dumped damaging planting, protective membrane and mulch. It was not put back until I called Badgehurst and made a complaint. No other damaged item was replaced. Now 25th May 2020 on my visit to the cemetary the large rampant weeds are taking over the cemetery and never previously seen. Some graves are laid blocking pathways which are so uneven they are a hazard see attached photos. Whilst services are available on request for rather large fees, other cemeteries do not charge for basic ground maintenance. Grave maintenance fees are pointless when weeds are spreading everywhere see attached photos. These need to be controlled throughout the growing season so they don't take over the graves and paths see attached photos. It is indeed shameful that our loved ones resting place has been so neglected and disrespected over the years. I travel 2 hours by public transport to reach cemetery and I am expected to pay a sum £40 to use the toilet. This needs to be reviewed on a pay as you go for visitors travelling to the location 2-3 times a year. I hope to see some improvements to the state of the grounds before my next visit. To all relatives of the deceased I request that we encourage the new owners in their efforts to improve the state of the cemetary. Thank you. 10/7/2022 Still covered in weeds all the way to my fathers grave. I had wooden logs stolen which I put around the grave to protect my feet from the mud. Shameful!
The new owners are great, the cemetery is well maintained. It is important for our loved ones to rest in peace in a clean and well maintained cemetery. I am really happy with the service. Thank you very much.
I have went to visit my family and ever since the new owners, Ersin and Mustafa took over the management , there has been a very big improvement. The cemetery has been kept clean and so many repairs have been made. I couldnt be much more happier. Thank you so much
Contrary to comments I have read about the cemetery I was very impressed by the work carried out since I visited some years ago. So much has been done to improve everything and when I spoke to Mustafa/Ozel in the office he was extremely kind and informative and answered all my questions in detail about renewing a lease. Everything was done very efficiently and I now have all the documentation I need. Murat Polat, the Director of I & C Memorials was also very helpful in showing me the many options. All in all a very positive experience.
Great improvement to the cemetery. I would like to praise the new owners on making a great outcome of it. My grandma is buried here and the maintenance is great. Highly recommended.
Highly recommended. My family have all been buried here and the maintenance and service that is provided is more than enough for everyone. Since the new owners have took over we haven’t seen any problems. Thank you
