I JUST WANT THE TELEPHONE NUMBER OF TOTNES RAILWAY STATION TICKET OFFICE. Why is it so difficult to get to speak to a human being there? I don't want National Rail Enquiries. I simply want the phone number for the ticket office at Totnes to find out if my ticket is there waiting for me. They close at 1545 and my train doesn't leave until several hours later. How do I physically get my ticket without making the long difficult journey to collect it sometime before I leave? THIS IS A NIGHTMARE. .......... Just found out that they don't give out telephone numbers of railway stations any more.You HAVE to phone India or the Phillipines or somewhere. BRING BACK BRITISH RAIL. The money grubbing of the privatised rail companies is vile; my very small problem requires a person, a human being, to HELP me. But all we get nowadays is a machine or "customer support" or else someone on the opposite side of the world. I am not "a customer", I am a paying PASSENGER. Well, I thought I was.
