Great place to visit, especially on market days, Friday and Saturday. Try the steam train a beautiful way to get to Buckfastleigh.
Clean and tidy station. Wheelchair access is good.nnVery disappointing that there are no refreshment outlets open on weekends and even more surprising as this is the start of the summer season with large numbers of passengers embarking and disembarking.nnAlthough there is a Taxi rank, it seems, in the world of the App, taxis don't wait there regularly. So, it's best to book in advance with a local firm. There is a limited bus service.
Good station, was frosty on the platforms with plenty of salt been put down, no longer a junction station. There's a cafe in the disused signal box selling vegetarian breakfast, can see where the sidings used to be, there's a big chimney next to the station
What a wonderfully picturesque town. So many independent stores and eateries. A great market and several charity shops. We parked at Steamer Car Park which was a few minutes walk from centre and had wc's and a cafe in car park
A lovely station, With a bridge to get from one side to the other, And with trains departing for Cardiff, London and Edinburgh.nThere is a taxi rank outside and The Signal Box cafe not far away as well. Toliets are on the platforms as well..nTo walk to the town it takes approx 15 minsnAnd there is a bus that takes you as well..
