Nigel is very knowledgeable and very fair. Took my car in to have a recon automatic gearbox and he called to say it was not needed and suggested another cause of my issues, saving me thousands of pounds. Nigel was always courteous and spent time explaining the problems. I highly recommend Torquay Transmissions for your gearbox needs. I see comments about it being hard to get to but, just because it isn't where you expect, doesn't make it difficult. The garage is very well equipped and we found and got to it with no difficulty.

Nigel is very knowledgeable and helpful. Great care taken to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the work carried out. Easy to find, sat Nav took me to the door. Very happy.😁

I didnt have any direct dealings with the guys here because repairs were arranged via a 3rd party garage, but the work they have done is excellent and my car drives like new again.

My 19 year old arrived in Torquay on a RAC low loader. Having pre-arranged with Nigel he took delivery on Tuesday afternoon/evening and the car had a new clutch by lunchtime on Wednesday. He's home now safe and sound - what a service, many thanks.
