After living in Leigh Park for about 7 years, my wife made me take the children to Top Spot for a game ( her sister made us go!) On first apperance it is dark, but that is what it should look like, the staff were friendly and very helpful.  They talked us through what was going to happen and that they don't mind the children!  So after 3 visits over a few months we joined as members and go on the odd occasion. 
Everyone should try the local snooker hall it is ok! worth a go!

its a family run club where the staff are very friendly and happy to help out with any request, there is pool, snooker, darts or even american pool. 
kids are welcome, and we're sure you'll enjoy yourself, i would recommend, even if you have youngsters,
