Chris' wonderful traditional sweetshop is a great addition to the town. He always greets my daughter by name and takes the time to pick out her favourite sweets. The ice cream and fudge seems to be a hit too.
Wonderful place to visit. Being able to buy the sweets from my childhood is great. A lovely treat for children. A traditional sweet shop, definitely need to visit if only to reminisce you childhood.
Very lovely artisan fudge in its own decorative box. Very pleased and as always a friendly reception.
Such a fabulous addition to oakham. Chris goes above and beyond to keep all of his customers happy. He will get in your favorite sweet requests too. Very reasonably priced, the milkshakes are great and I cannot wait to try the fudge! So much growth since he first opened too, great to see a small business flourish. Cant wait for our next visit!
If you like proper whipped ice cream, this is the place to go. Absolutely delicious ice cream from Southend on Sea. The pick and mix is great for children and you can easily get a bag full of sweeties for 50p. A lovely, traditional sweet shop with the old fashioned jars to choose from.
It’s a great addition to Oakham and has been a big hit with the family. The milkshakes are our favourite and every time I am down town my kids ask for one, the Oreo and Biscoff ones are their favourite but mine is the Malteser. The staff are really kind and helpful especially Chris. It is really good value for money and everything is delicious. I would definitely recommend if you are ever in Oakham to pop in and get something.
My kids absolutely love this shop and the staff were really lovely! First time I took my daughter she told me it’s where she wanted to come for her birthday. Such a lovely addition to have in our little town! Highly recommend.
So pleased that I now don't have to drive around the streets of Oakham hoping to find the ice-cream van so my kids can have a soft ice-cream. All I need to do now is head straight to the shop for Rossi icecream, which is delicious. The Milkshakes are also lovely, but need a nutty flavour one on the menu next.
Ordered online, received constant updates on when the parcel was going to arrive. When it did arrive, the taste of the pick n mix took me straight back to my childhood. Could not recommend enough! Thank you Warners
Such an incredible shop, the owner Chris and his staff are very friendly and helpful, good value for money and the Slush Puppies, Milkshake, Rutland Fudge, Rutland Rock, Rossi Ice Cream and all the sweets are absolutely incredible. I absolutely recommend this shop to anyone and it’s definitely worth a visit if you live in Oakham, Rutland or just coming for a day or couple of weeks.
