We visited Toons originally just to have a look at the furniture but after seeing that they did made to measure curtains with a full fitting service we decided to get a quote. We chose a material and pattern colour that we liked and then booked an appointment for Olga to visit our home. She gave some great advice on what would be best for our windows as well as taking measurements. She then emailed us a detailed quote with a full breakdown of costs for the curtains and fitting. After confirming the curtain material and accepting the quote, an appointment was then made for the fitters to come and carry out some preparatory work whilst the curtains were being made, with a subsequent appointment for the proper fitting. The fitters did a very professional job and the curtains are very well made. We couldn't be any happier with the service we received and would recommend anyone considering having new curtains to go and visit the team at Toons. You won't be disappointed.
Large furniture showroom across two floors. Sofas, tables, chairs, cabinets, dressers etc. Small giftware and cookshop. Café with outdoor seating. Awesome coffee and cakes. Lovely friendly service.
We’ve just had our carpet fitted by Toons. We’re very pleased with the whole experience, from visiting the store, to the measuring and fitting. They allowed us to take some large samples home to better gauge the colour, which was a huge help. All in all, we’re very happy we chose Toons over their competitors. A truly first class service.
First time going here, we were looking for 2 new sofas. There is such a great selection of furniture, and carpets, ect. Was set out great inside. The staff member we spoke to was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. He explained everything we needed to know. The quality of the furniture is really good to. Got 2 lovely sofas, delivered to our door when we was ready, the delivery team was great, friendly and helpful, set everything up for us and explained how to clean the leather. What a great shop and staff. Many thanks.
Used to be a great place. You could go there and kit out an entire room with everything you needed including the accessories... now having gone today, the place looks empty. Unless you want an overpriced old fashioned looking sofa or a table and chair set that won't fit in most modern day houses.. this is not the store it used to be. So sad
We have visited a few times recently and have ordered a sofa, a chair and a table. The staff were on the whole ok but be prepared for a long wait for pretty much anything you want, sofa 10 weeks,chair 10 weeks, table same, mirror that was on sale couldn't say! Not overly encouraging for us to return. We ordered other items of furniture from other stores and they are here already. Just a follow up, it's four weeks on and still no sign of our furniture! No contact from the store on an expected date, nothing. We needed a table and chairs for our kitchen. Ordered and delivered from Amazon in 4 days and good quality . Update, the furniture has arrived in store after 10 weeks but can't be delivered for another week? bringing the wait to a total of 3 and a half months!
Staff ok. However products not always upto to expectations, poor quality on some furniture, has been sorted eventually! Hopefully!
A fantastic selection of products, profesional staff and competitive pricing. We recently purchased a recline and rise chair, from purchase to our lounge in under 24 hours.
Came in today to look at corner sofas - walked all the way round the downstairs twice and the upstairs and not one member of staff approached us to see if we needed help. In fact three of them were sat on sofas having a chat. Awful service - nice sofas but won’t be returning to give my money to people who don’t care. Have been told one of the people sitting around was the manager clearly setting a superb example of customer service to his staff!!! Perhaps Toons don’t need sales.
Just had flooring fitted downstairs. 5 Star Friendly Clean and Professional. Couldn't be happier
