To be honest I mostly use their rivals, Screwfix, as they are closer to where I live. On the occasions I do use Toolstation, they're staff are always friendly and very professional. I've also noticed that TS will often sell the identical item to SF significantly cheaper. So sometimes it's worth the extra effort to drive to their branch.
Ordered item Sunday night, received text 7.10am bank holiday Monday, to say 'ready for collection'. Before setting out Ordered another item. 5 mins later received text 'ready for collection'. Excellent service. However on return home found one item didn't fit what I needed. Returned it next day but there wasn't a suitable alternative. Money refunded immediately without any hesitation. Doubly excellent. Happy to recommend.
Boston Branch. Ordered online and went to click and collect as normally. Waited till next counter person became available. They ignored me standing there and started serving the next person in the till queue. I asked if anyone was doing click and collect. I was told no you need to queue and he turned back to the person he'd started serving. If that was the case why not tell me when I first walked in and stood at the counter. I'd been there 5mins patiently waiting for the next person to finish. The queue was around the store about 8 people. Gave up just went to Screwfix got served pleasantly and promptly without pre-ordering. Enough to make me think about giving up on Toolstation. If click and collect is not available then remove it as an option on the website.
Once again, a great service with a smile, staff very friendly and polite, Lindsey who served me was exceptional, very knowledgeable on products I asked about and not forgetting a lovely smile.nIt's nice to go in to a shop and be greeted by friendly staff, unlike other diy stores I have visited, I use tool station all the time now.
