Our new dishwasher supply hose connector wouldn't fit and seal around the existing plumbing in the kitchen so went to ToolStation Aberdeen to get a cross-over fitting. George provided excellent customer service, looked through the pictures and identified the optimum cross-over solution from the inventory available in the warehouse...it worked perfect and put an end to annoying drippy drop at the fitting. Sarah was also kind enough to offer the wee one an ice lolly whilst the time passed. Thanks both.
It's wonderful to have a shop like Toolstation close at hand especially when you need to purchase items quickly. Recently on three separate occasions I needed new impact driver bits and two sizes of Torx screws for a job I was doing. Each item was purchased online. I was notified almost immediately they were ready for collection, given them as soon as I entered the shop and welcomed courteously. Top class service and excellent value.
I went into buy some electrical sockets for my new house. I found the staff there to be superb, friendly, and willing to help. One of the guys there really helped me and he helped me choose the correct sockets. I cannot praise the staff here highly enough, they all seemed happy and were having a bit of a laugh which was great to see. Will definitely be going back there to shop.
Very quick service from the Aberdeen Altens branch. Ordered online and got a text confirmation in about 2 minutes for Click & Collect. Staff are great, been here a few times and always friendly service. Highly recommended.
Generally have had pretty good experience but today was perhaps the worst of all. The guy at the counter was good but a middle aged lady was constantly nagging for my lack of preparedness as I didn't do a click and collect. There was a purchasing and returns queue so not sure why you would offer that when you only want your customers to click and collect. She showed absolutely no compassion as I was carrying my one year old. I want to tell the middle aged lady that not everyone is prepared to click and collect as I wasn't quite sure what to buy. If you have a problem with not so prepared customers, then do not have a purchasing queue. No more Toolstation. I would prefer a store who care about customers.
First class service despite the problems faced by all businesses. I ordered some DIY stuff and got what I ordered within 5 minutes. I use the Altens store as its the nearest to where I live. Nice to see a staff member helping direct customers and still remaining cheerfull. All staff seemed to have got everything under control during these challenging times. Top Notch!
I ordered a cordless hedge trimmer from the altens branch recently , when I arrived to collect it there wasn't one in store so Nathan, I assume the manager, found one for me at another branch so I could collect it. So far the trimmer works very well. Good service in challenging times

Made a purchase through click and collect. When we arrived, we were served by rhona. She was super helpful. Took our goods to our car. Great service!
