Just had a pizza, pasta, garlic bread and mozzarella sticks from this place Utterly disappointed with the food. I called at 5:45pm and was told to arrive at 8pm because my food would not be ready until then. I arrived promptly and picked up the food. After a five minute drive to the Sea Nymph caravan park my pizza was cold, my wife's pasta was cold and the garlic bread turned out to be a finger bun. Oh! And that was cold too Thankfully we have a microwave Go to the co-op and buy a pizza and a pack of finger rolls.
Tony's is a fantastic takeaway. You need to ring and pre-order and you get given a 5 minute collection slot, which worked really well tip there is a car park across the road you can park in. We had two pizzas, chips and two puddings. It was all really well made and really yummy. My wife has dairy and soya allergies and the first question asked on the phone is do you have any allergies, which is brilliant. Most of the menu cn be done dairy, soya, gluten free or vegan, which is great. Tony also uses Vio Life cheese as his dairy free/soya free/vegan alternative which is by far the best of the vegan cheeses we've tried. Even better than that the double chocolate chocolate fudge brownie is also vegan/dairy free/soya free, which is awesome as often puddings are the bit of meal out my wife misses out on. All in all a fantastic takeaway catering for allergens so well and very very well organised and yummy.
Great pizza and great service. This had a really good system for pick up during and was very COVID friendly. There is a little carpark up the road which you can leave your car in just before the bridge which was very handy.
Not very good pizzas, about as Italian as Dylan Thomas. The box they came in would have been tastier. Certainly not home made bases. Chips were nice though.
If you like cheap pizza for a massively inflated price go for it, the pizza was very poor, frozon base and tinned ingredients for sure. The pizzas were overcooked and yet we still has to wait 40mins before getting the order. If you want pizza go to a spar and get and discount pizza for better quality than this.
Lovely pizzas and they catered for our gluten free vegan requests perfectly. Great chips. The Moose beer is fantastic-ask for one as you collect. Easy parking and friendly efficient service. Phone early though as the slots get filled quickly. The sauces come in large portions-it’s better value than going to a supermarket!
Sorry to say but this was the worst takeaway I've ever eaten. The pizza bases were terrible and the cheese on top was a strange texture. The chips were OK but they too had a strange texture and taste like they had been fried and cooled about 6 times. This place has definitely got to improve their food! The service was good though.
Having eaten in the restaurant many years ago and had a good time we were looking forward to good Italian pizzas. Placed the order and picked up the meals on time from a very pleasant young lady Got back to the site and found that someone in the kitchen had dropped one of them and all the toppings were in one corner of the box. The bases are premade and not very nice. Only good thing was they were hot Won’t be going back
I have been eating Tony's pizza for many years and it is always excellent quality and tastes fantastic. I would highly recommend, the Gladiator pizza, potato wedges, spicy wings and awesome cheesy garlic bread. Delicious food, friendly atmosphere from the staff and owners.
We ate at Tony’s restaurant some years ago when on holiday. Brilliant food, quirky restaurant and interesting host. On a return visit we found it closed as the chef had died. This holiday it is open as a takeaway and the food is once more brilliant. I can only hope that when we come back again the chef from today and the staff that are working with him/ her are still working together but in the restaurant. Well done folks we were thrilled with your food and promptness in having it ready for us piping hot dead on time.
