Been using this chippy for many years and fish normally good. However, tonight we had 2 small fish dinner and really disappointed. What fish there was in the batter was hard and dry and the batter was like chewing on cardboard. Chips and peas not much better and for £13 would expect a lot better. I did ring the shop and a sorry!
The fish was very dry and the peas tasted burnt. The chips tasted better than they looked - they were very pale.Food: 2/5

Had to go for it as they don't deliver but it was worth the walk. But now they deliver on Friday and Saturday the food , service and staff make this for me one of the best I have ever been to I give it 100% better than any ihave ever been to . been all around this country when working .and I rate this one the best.Food: 5/5
Disappointed! No salt and vinegar on our meals yet again. And why do you insist on using polystyrene?
One of the better local chippys , little bit of everything available here traditional chipshop , Chinese, burgers , kebabs… good quality food and friendly staff

Bit of a queue but that's only because it's such a nice chippy I used to work for a chippy and can tell they change their oil regularly and food is always lovely
Food is lovely apart from the fish I like them well done and I only like haddock which my hubby asked for a while ago and we got home it was cod so in the bin it went other than that it's great.
So disappointed tonight with tony's fish, never really can fault food! It was always we never ever received the free pop , but we expected that in end, but tonight we was missing the fried rice with our order, it was a little young girl about age 10 whom delivered my order while her dad waited in car, so automatically thought maybe she forget to gave us full order, after I rang back to explain they told me to send the food back they redo the full order which I thought that was amazing, but unfortunately the food they sent back was unexceptable!, the first lot was fresh n hot, and the replacement was dry, burnt and not edible, we ended up not having tea at all I rung bak to explain again and all I got was lies and attitude, unfortunately I'll never order from this business again and I never recommend it to anyone again On reply back to your comment its exactly what happened thank you very much, I don't appreciate being called a liar, I haven't since ordered from after this disgusting service I take my custome elsewhere!
