Lovely, warm staff and stunning food! Amazing value for money and beats the other venues we visited/thought of going to. Go eat there, you won't be disappointed.
Very nice place, open early and open late. I came in very wet and they didn’t seem to mind! The food was very quick, tasty, and quick! Exceptional curry and the small side salad that came with it was great as well. They also have an assortment of gf and non gf desserts. The menu is moderately priced, but the desserts are a bit pricier.
Stopped in to Donnegal Town on a Saturday drive from Galway to Bushmills. I was looking for a tasty Irish lunch that would be served fairly quick. I found it here! Parking was a bit of a challenge remember to pay. The staff was friendly. The fish and veggies with salad was beautiful and very tasty. I'd stop in again the next time I'll pass through!
Lovely people, lovely eatery...Had the battered haddock followed by apple pie & clotted cream. Waddled out of the place - absolutely stuffed! Very reasonably priced too...
The beef brisket served with mash, carrots, parsnips and a couple of superbly seasoned chicken pieces was the best meal I've had for a very long time. The gravy was subliminal. Normally, I would have thought the chicken with this dish was a bit weird. But WOW, what a contrast and YES! It really worked. The service was perfect, beer was good. I definitely recommend. You simply have to try it! I can't wait to go back.
Super tasty and great service! I had the fresh sea trout with veg and potatos! The cabbage was the best I have ever tasted! Great value for money and lovely staff! Oooh and the desserts.... Oh my lord!! They were naughty!!
A great little café in the main road. Table service with polite and attentive staff. Had a toasted cheese and ham sandwich and a coffee. Enjoyed the sandwich and the coffee was very good. Reasonable prices. Parking nearby in a pay and display car park.
Dry and burnt rashers, soggy French toast. Milkshakes were great. Chicken nuggets in batter with proper breast meat very good. I am giving 2 stars because the mens toilet is disgusting and looks like it has not been cleaned in a long time. Very poor, always judge a restaurant by the state of the toilet.
Food was average, and I found hairs in my milkshake. Windowsill behind us was completely covered in dead insects, with about 8 dead wasps, and one live one. Staff were nice and patient though, which is why I'm giving it one star
One of the best mixed grills I have had in a long long time,and the friends with me had two excellent meal's also, the food was well presented staff lovely and friendly and the prices for our food was Very reasonable, so if your passing through Donegal town call in to Toni's Bistro you won't regret it.
