So incredibly disappointed. Was nervous about trying out a new salon and despite a great first impression (Claire's haircut was superb), the experience I have just had with one of the colourists was awful. 

Everything I feared. 

I had 'beautiful' hair (as Claire described it). After spending 3 and a half hours in this salon, I now I have orange/yellow straw. Watching her trying to yank the round brushes out while she was blow drying it was absolute agony. I'm terrified it's completely wrecked.

I'm a fully grown, professional woman with a good, common sense grip on life, and on seeing the result of the mess she has made, I cried.

Claire is now on holiday and can't help, receptionist just suggested another appointment with a 'more senior' colourist. Meanwhile I have to go to work looking like a scarecrow and am so devastated and petrified that the damage is permanent. Just horrendous.

They have 'rebooked' me, but how do I trust now, is it even possible to fix a mess like this?

So I've just received a call from the unsympathetic receptionist who offered me a full refund, presumably after reading this review.

Upon explaining that I was not after a refund, I was looking for the issue to be assessed by the salon manager before any future action was taken, and then my hair fixed, she told that this is not possible and my 'rebook' appointment has been cancelled.

So thanks Claire, for your duty of care towards your customers. It would have been nice for you to at least take a look at what's been done before dismissing me, especially as I was also messed about by appointment scheduling which I hadn't mentioned. 

Does your receptionist label other customers 'hard work' and 'problematic' if they are disappointed with the result?

So here I am with no refund, and no prospect of Toni and Guy accepting responsibility for their actions.

Awful colour and far too dark for my complexion. The colourist routinely asked how I liked the colour after Nick had cut my hair brilliantly. I answered her honestly saying it looked flat, too dark and lifeless. She rolled her eyes and walked away. I assume she didn't appreciate my genuine feedback. 
Even Nick's magic cutting can't help alleviate the awful colour. Very disappointing as I've used T & G for 20 years. First and last time in Stockton Heath branch.

Overpriced and full of young seemingly low skilled cutters. Looks very fashionable so maybe better suited to younger clients
