Overall an authentic family run restaurant. Was lovely to try some less westernised versions of chinese cousine. Lovely staff and service too.nnWe had chicken claws, tripe, morning glory and dimsum set for starters. For the mains we had beef noodles and duck and pork with rice. We finished the meal with custard buns.nnPrawn dimsum was amazing, filled with soft prawns in see through soft dough. The chicken claws and tripe had very pleasant texture but needed a punch in flavour. They only tasted of sichuan. Same goes for morning glory, needed some stronger flavours like garlic, greens, maybe sesame oil and seeds on top. The main dishes were flawless. And the custard buns were a very pleasant and not overly sweet end to our meal.nnThe prices are very affordable.nnWill definitely be going back to try so many of the other intriguing items on the menu. :
Happy to have found a legit dim sum restaurant so close to home — no need to trek all the way to central London anymore!nnThe food here was spot on. We ordered a great selection: har gow prawn dumplings and siu mai were juicy and full of flavour, the cheung fun had a silky texture and a lovely savoury sauce, and the chicken feet were nicely seasoned. The deep-fried sesame rolls were crispy and not greasy, and the tofu skin rolls were hearty and satisfying. Even the egg tart — although I was already full — was buttery and smooth, with a proper flaky crust.nnPortion sizes were generous, prices were fair, and everything came out hot and fresh. Service was pretty quick and efficient.nnDefinitely coming back again — and will be recommending this place to friends and family who love dim sum as much as I do!
I don't understand how I lived in Dartford for so long and never tried this restaurant until today. The food was five star . If it could be ten stars, I would rate it eleven.nnI attended lunch with my daughter and was pleasantly surprised to see it so busy. We ordered salt and pepper wings, deep frid squid, sesame prawn rolls, thinly sliced lamb with ginger and King prawn fried rice. Everything was absolutely delicious that I even ordered an extra special fried rice to go for my husband.nnMy only thing is that it took a little while to be noticed for service, but I appreciate the place was fully packed. I'll definitely be coming here again! It was a great experience and I'm happy they also deliver via Just Eat.
Very good Chinese restaurant, especially for Dim sum. If you order 5 dim sum on a weekday, you get a free portion of Shanghai soup dumpling. They have a great selection of Dim sum at a very reasonable price. It's definitely a lot more affordable than most establishments in China Town. The quality of Dim sum is very good and would highly recommend their prawn dumpling and roast pork buns. Both are very delicious and delightful. They serve very authentic Chinese food for eating in and for takeaway.nnThe staff are helpful and very efficient, I have been there during lynch and evening times. Every time I have visited, it has been enjoyable, and the food has been delicious and consistent.nnThere are a number of shopping centres with paid parking. The restaurant is not too far from the train station, approximately 10 - 15min walk. The restaurant is spacious and has lots of tables and seating.
Genuinely incredible food, the best dim sum, really busy and lots of fun. The most amazing Custard buns. Highly recommended
