Excellent garden centre where you can find everything you could ever possibly need for your garden under a single roof, from indoor and artificial plants to BBQ’s and outdoor seating. Also has an excellent aquatics centre, play area for kids and a cafe.
Bought 6 hanging baskets for the second year running. Took last years baskets back in April ready for them to be re done for this year. They are as gorgeous as ever with great advice given and followed. Here are a few of them. A little on the expensive side but well worth it.
Pretty well-stocked garden centre, with a wide selection of gifts as much as plants for sale. Large car park, cafe and toilets in store. Our apple pie pastry was flabby and anaemic-looking and tasted under baked, so we wasted our £4.50 there, but otherwise the cafe was good and offered a vegan selection too. A nice place to visit with children at Christmas, as the displays and decorations are nice. I've heard good things about the paid-for play centre, too.
Great place to buy my Xmas tree and other items. The food was great, and It was not too much of a wait at the time I was there with my 19m old. My little one loved feeding the fish at maidenhead aquatics, though I found it hard to find through a clothes shop of all things.
Amazing garden centre which is very well presented and well stocked. The Christmas display is legendary with the model village. Grasshoppers soft play is excellent for children, with load of different things to do inside and out. The restaurant in grass hoppers has a variety of good for adults and children. Food is of good quality. Other dining facilities in the garden centre are top notch
Huge place , plants all well cared for. Need a few hours to see it all. Reasonable prices however I was a bit put out to see the éclairs at 2 for £4 in the food hall when I'd just paid £4.75 for 1 in cafe
Amazing garden centre with a massive selection of indoor and outdoor plants. The aquatics section is a tad on the expensive side but that is reflected in their high quality stock. I could spend hours at this place!
Second time visiting, the food downstairs was very disappointing last time so tried upstairs. They got our order wrong but quickly fixed the issue and brought fresh food out and apologised, they even offered a plastic plate and cup for my little girl to share my food which was really nice. Would definitely recommend eating upstairs although a little pricey £20 for a cheese burger and chips It was lovely to see all the Christmas things out, great displays and the play area is fantastic. I have a 10 month old and she loved it
First time visit today 9th November 2023in over 10 years. What a surprise! It's huge. An extention with an upstairs cafe and, another cafe downstairs at the back of the store. The product range has grown massively in quantity and quality. Absolutely brilliant isles full of wonderful products for Xmas and, other times. The Xmas displays were extraordinary fabulous. We didn't have enough time to get round, nor enough money as the prices reflect the state of divided Britain where only the better off can afford to shop here while the rest live in a Victorian/Dickensian hoval of poverty division. 5 stars for the store as it was fabulous
As garden centres go this is pretty top notch. The grasshoppers play centre would earn it 5 stars on it's own, it's got both indoor and outdoor areas that easily keep kids of all ages entertained. In addition to that it has a really great food hall, an amazing food shop and delicatessen, huge toy section as well as books, tools and furniture. And if plants are what you're after, I'd be surprised if is there's much they don't have, from flowers, bushes, trees, herbs and vegetables.
