Great place to take dogs after a walk. Homemade steak pie, chips, quiche & cakes on the menu - all delicious! Lovely cappuccino's & a huge pot of tea for 2, very spoilt! Nice real fire stove for the dogs to chill out in front of whilst we ate. Friendly staff too. A really lovely treat. Not sure why it says it's permanently closed on TripAdvisor as it most certainly isn't
We went for a gale force windy walk up to the Cut and surrounding area after. Went to this cafe afterwards for some lunch. It wasn’t busy at this time of year. Had an amazing lunch of what was advertised as quiche and homemade coleslaw and chutney. Much better than that! The quiche was delicious, the homemade coleslaw was homemade coleslaw but the chutney and salad were the show stoppers in our opinion. I’ve never thought of putting blueberries in a salad! Anyway, the coffee was good. We sat at the window so we could look at the view of where we’d just walked. As we ate the view quickly disappeared. The weather up there changes quickly. We’re very grateful to be inside.
I read the reviews of Toft Gate Barn and decided that we would have lunch here rather than in Pateley Bridge, so glad we came. We both had the homemade quiche caramelised onion with chips to share, it was delicious . Shame we didn’t have room for a piece of cake as they also looked delicious. Thank goodness we found this lovely cafe which has seating downstairs and even more upstairs.
After a lovely walk AA Walks: The Mines of Greenhow and Bewerley Moor we were ready for something nice to drink and eat. Steak Pie, Chips and Peas was the perfect answer. What an amazing place this is. So pleased to have found it.
Lovely cakes and views, and views out the back. The menu for savoury brunch/lunch looked lovely as well. Cosy tables inside as well as outdoor seating in the courtyard out the back. Perfect bike stop.
New find for us, superb food the best sausage rolls ever! amazing chips and lovely cake. We bought burgers from the small shop for later. Fantastic views.
Excellent espresso - certainly the best in the surrounding area. Did have to wait a long time in the queue before being able to order our takeaway. Looks like it has a nice atmosphere if you wanted to sit in. Plenty of interesting cake options available. Parking: Free parking outside Barn with limited spots
Excellent food and a warm and friendly environment. We had a long wait for our food 45 mins after our order got missed but it was worth the wait and the staff handled the error very well, offering a refund and free coffee and cake, so a positive outcome Vegetarian options: Delicious homemade quiche and salad, but they did run out of cole slaw which was part of the dish
Visited after seeing Al visit on Bushman and Blue youtube channel. Certainly wasn't disappointed! Friendly staff, fantastic coffee, superb full English and incredible views!
Stunning views. Lovely staff. Fresh cooked food. Super cake and proper pots of tea!!
