We had a fantastic meal and experience. The front of house was very pleasant, our waitress really friendly and nice and the food was really really nice. Yes it was busy but the restaurant coped well and we will absolutely go back again. Recommended for sure.Food: 5/5
Fantastic value for money and excellent service. Good size portions, good selection of vegetables and many refillable drinks. Decor needs a little attention and car parking spaces are ridiculously small.

We would like to thank a young lad called Andy for making us feel welcome and looking after us so well when reception was busy elsewhere. He checked us in and showed us to our table. he was polite and couldn't be more helpful. A very pleasant young man who is an asset to your restaurant. One of the best Toby's I've had. Plenty of meat on a standard plate, 2 choices of roast potatoes and every dish of veg was full and fresh no dried up carrots etc Staff where efficient and no long wait for the bill after we'd finished. Perfect.Food: 5/5
We haven't been since before Covid. It was just as good as ever - lots of Veggies and meats to choose from....all good. Pud was delicious and we liked the table for five in the alcove. Parking: Car park was only half full but it was a Tuesday... usually busier at the weekend. Wheelchair accessibility: This building has wide doorways and wide lanes to the tables. There are a couple of shallow steps but plenty of room to manouver, The Loo is on the same level with other toilets upstairs,
Came down from Norfolk to visit our Daughter in Brentwood, and having booked a table we had a fantastic carvery. We will definitely be coming back, the food service and staff are second to none 12 out of 10
I always come here and I must say up until now all lovely and friendly but tonight was a disaster from the start. Took them over 10 minutes to book us in then had to wait 5 minutes for food no one in the queue Then waited another 10 mins for drinks and to top it off ask for the bill and she forgot about us ! Was not busy at all I do not really leave bad reviews but tonight was a joke staff was still friendly tho
The meat was very tender and moist. However, a couple of my potatoes were hard and undercooked plus the whole dinner was not warm enough or to the correct temperature. There are serviettes to hold your plate with because they are too hot to hold. But they weren’t even warm . Parking: Easy and safe
If you enjoy a carvery then you'll enjoy this one. The food was good and reasonably priced. It was clean and the tables cleared regularly. There's a carpark attached which is handy. Don't forget to register your car registration on arrival.Food: 4/5
