Big portions of decent food. I hadn't been to a Toby since I was a child....what have I been missing! I took my 84 year old mum as an impromptu stop for lunch on a day out...she loved it too.nA great team talked me through how things worked then I was away.nI left full and satisfied....and I will be back.
The food is awesome, the staff are friendly. The prices are reasonable. The decor inside is great. It's always a treat to pop to the carvery and I love them for that.nOur server was Alana, who made my daughter smile, bless her. The carver was Juan, who cut the meats into perfectly sized portions.
Very nice roast dinner. Great value too. Very busy on Sunday evening, but it's to be expected I guess. Alison was our waitress, she was very good, cheerful, singing to herself, and generally welcoming. Excellent customer service.nnOnly downside was that the restaurant was freezing cold. It was only about 8 degrees outside, yet they insisted on leaving the large front door wide own. When asked if they could close it, they wouldn't, as 'there were to many people coming in and out'. Had to eat my dinner wearing my coat.
Nice location and building plus a very friendly and welcoming team make the place. Food wise, what you'd expect really from a Toby, a bit bland and overcooked all round. Squarely aimed at the quantity over quality bracket, meat was a little dry I tried Pork and Beef, carrots and cauliflower cheese overcooked and roast potatoes could have used a little longer and a little oil to make them crispy.nnEverything was fresh, the place reasonably clean considering there was a queue for the carvery and so a little busy, the price was decent, the staff very helpful and sometimes you just want that easy option, to be full and for that it fits the bill. However overall not a patch on a decent pub roast or homemade.nnNow I must admit their unlimited breakfast offer did look appealing to me so am sure at some point I'll have to give it a try.
Hello,nnMy girlfriend and I went to the Toby Carvery in Worcester park for the all you can eat breakfast. It was my girlfriends birthday so we're having birthday celebration breakfast. We met Abdul who served us. He was really kind and a really nice guy. He gave my girlfriend a free brownie for her birthday. Overall great service and food!
