Want to say a massive thanks to Tash, who was Possibly the nicest and most attentive waitress we had ever encountered, she was fantastic! Vegan food option here is really decent and the food itself is hearty! And it’s such well priced! Will be back.
Food came which was cold vegetables wasn’t cooked meet was as thick as steaks and fatty! First time ordering and can honestly say never again! Oh and the Yorkshire pudding went in the bin as did dessert
Grubby run down, dirty in some areas. No soap to wash hands. Items missing. Hope I don’t get sick. Sticky carpet. Never again. Telford Toby the worst in the country.
Absolutely terrible experience today. Waited 40 minutes in the queue for the carvery. Only one gent carving for a very busy restaurant. No cutlery on the table when we returned to our table. Problem is this restaurant is concentrating on their delivery take out service and the old Toby looking after visiting customers has diminished drastically. Feel this is my last visit very disappointing experience except for the lovely Anna who was a delight who was very apologetic.. Plus the veggie gravy was salty and like treacle however they did let me re-plate as it was inedible.
Absolute bargain for the money. A massive feed. Left very full. Staff very polite. I've not used for a long time but now I'm sure I'll use more often.
Poor, embarrassing Toby carvery. Rubbish dried out vegetables, zero customer service. Lots of staff doing not a lot. Avoid. Addition: Thanks for reaching out to me but I like to know who I am actually going to speak to before ringing you.
Came here for lunch today and it was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious and the house raspberry soda was the best soft drink I've ever tasted. Compared to other Toby Carverys I've been to, the food at Telford was cooked to a much higher standard and there was more variety. All staff were very kind and polite. The chefs serving the carvery didn't mind explaining how things worked as it's been a while since I've been to one of these restaurants. Thank you for a lovely afternoon out.
Went here for the first time today to try the carvery. We were really impressed with it; we were given a lot of meat. Veg etc was really great, good choices and cooked just right. The staff were also really pleasant and helpful. Yes, the place is a little tired but it was still nice and overall it was a good experience. We will be returning. Parking: Plenty of space outside. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free catered for.
Great welcome & service, quickly allocated a table and drinks served. Carvery was very well presented, plenty of choice, and looked fresh, not dried up as seen in other businesses. Constantly being topped up by staff, chefs on carving were brilliant, very friendly and chatty. Lovely meal, very tasty and enjoyed by my husband and myself. Well done everyone!
The food would be nicer if it was hot and a much better cut of beef as it was very fatty there was more fat than beef but the sweets were very nice. The drinks order was incorrect so the member of staff obviously didn't listen to the order and there was only 3 adults so shouldn't of really got it wrong. The lady who I'm assuming was the manageress was very nice polite & professional. This pub wasnt my first choice for a meal but it was a birthday meal for my mum so had to get a table else where & this was the next nearest location
