Really classy, nice restaurant with friendly staff and great food. There is plenty of accessible parking and a really nice entrance. The staff greeted us as we entered and we were quickly directed to our table. they took in our drinks orders and they swiftly fetched them and brought them to our table. We then walked to the carvery, which had a great selection of meat and sides to choose from. the line wasn't very long for the 6:00 time we went there. the desserts are very nice and the staff are more than happy to tweak a couple of things if you ask. a very nice place with amazing food!
Just had Carvery lunch. Had a bit of each 4 meats generous portions including York puds & sausages! Potatoes & veg fresh. It was delicious & very good value. Lovely interior as redecorated not too long ago. Staff pleasant & efficient. Paid via the Toby app, all in all, a very pleasing experience! 5
A few hups and bumps with Toby in Frimley. The food is always good sometimes a little dry. The biggest issue was most of the drinks not available . Wines missing and when we did order one the waitress struggled to key it in it in bill. The soft drink machine was dispensing water and the waitress was doing her best to keep it all together. Staff was kind but the edges need smoothing out. The bill took a long time to come for the wine reasons but payment was quick and she was helpful for splitting it out. I recommend this place for large groups but it's not fine dining. Vegan menu was amazing. Kids welcome the menu looked fine. Didn't try the dessert but it's not overly expensive Vegetarian options: Sadly no vegetarian roast but the vegan options are good and you have your pick at steamed veg. Vegetarian stuffing available. Kid-friendliness: The children menu is small. Picky children may not suit it but the area was very child friendly. Kids eat for a pound. Dietary restrictions: Not much dairy free desserts. They ask about allergies at start and take it very seriously.
Been here a couple times, the service was exceptional today. Our server Pauline was so nice and welcoming. Food was delicious as always and at a fair price too. Can't beat a good carvery. Also strawberry Coke is so tasty!Food: 5/5
Thank you for contacting me. The overall experiance was poor. When we went up the carvery it was not staffed. We stood waiting for a few minutes but no kitchen staff nor waitresses came. There was a queue of up to 15 people. In the end I had to go into the kitchen doorway to ask for service. The hotplate worker attended was polite and served the meat. The carvery area needed a 'tidy' up. The veg had been left uncovered and under the heat lamps way too long, it was generally not very appealing to the eye. When it was time to pay and leave I had to look for a waitress to find 3 of them at the end of the bar having a social. In conclusion, when dealing directly with staff they were overall good but the food presentation and service in general was weak.
The refurbishment was a long awaiting arrival the new lay outs much more welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. All the team are alway welcoming. Some heating around the corridor around the conference room towards the lavatories would be good as my visit there was freezing a new ice cream machine also would be good and also if those new lighting pointed up in the sky in the parking area sitting in the booth opposite the carvery deck it's like car head light shining throw the window Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp for wheel chair access along with disabled lavatory
Just been back after over a year after a bad dinner and must say this was lovely, beef was tasty and soft the pork was juicy all veg perfect and fresh it was all great. The staff were polite and the lady that served our table was very proffesional. Will definitely start coming back on a regular basis.
Just had a refurbished, which is in keeping and nice and tidy. The gravy on my past few visits has been amazing, thick, proper northern gravy, it just makes the meal. Staff are all lovely and most have been there for long enough to know regulars.Food: 5/5
I am disabled so unable to easily access this restaurant due to my inability to walk very far however that didn't matter They do a take out service and allowed my son to bring me out a proper knife and fork as long as we returned it, which we did so that I could eat in the car. Absolutely fantastic service and very much appreciated that extra mile... Will definitely go back again soon
They have very friendly staff who are always happy to help and they are very good at their job. Go and visit this Toby Carvery restaurant and you will enjoy yourself.
