My favourite Toby carvery to go too. I’ve been to others such as Eden park but would say that bexleyheaths branch is the best. I didn’t book a table and was very busy but they was still able to seat us very quickly. I was served pretty much straight away. The food quality was lovely, could not fault a thing. The staff is very helpful and friendly, just overall a lovely experience so will be visiting again, thank you! Kid-friendliness: We did not have our little girl with us this time but we did notice many families with children who seemed very happy being there and the staff so friendly and know exactly how to interact with the kids. Parking: Parking is very convenient as right beside the entrance. A fair amount of spaces and quite large spaces which is great since we have a big vehicle. You just need to remember to log your licence plate at the front desk which you can do is seconds
I went to the Toby Carvery with my elderly father who is registered blind. We were made to feel very welcome when we first arrived at the desk and then shown to our seat near the window which I asked for when booking it. Our waitresses Becky, Amanda and Katie made us feel so very special, they were very attentive towards us both but paid particular care for my father when speaking to him and placing drinks and the plates on the table. Becky offered to help with carrying my father's plate from the servery to the table, which I much appreciated. My father did need the toilet and asked Katie who was very helpful towards to him, she explained to him where they were and offered to show him. We don't always experience such care and attention and thought that these wonderful ladies who are a valuable asset to your team need a big shout out and thank you. Vegetarian options: There are plenty of Vegetarian options as well. Parking: It does get very busy at the Toby Carvery but we were able to find a spot and it is not too far to walk to get to the main entrance.
I do love Toby's carvery, I do understand that they are busy I've been trying for the last 3 days to get hold of the restaurant. I've called at all different times in the day and nothing, I'm ringing up for enquire about gluten & dairy information i know they have it in their web but doesn't really give you much about the roast so instead of me going all the way their its easier to call up! Well you would have thought so I understand you're busy but it takes 2 seconds to answer a phone I hope I don't waste money getting down their to then be told I can't have the roast because they can't pick up the phone!
I've been here with family a few times now and we have always been impressed; the staff are friendly and the food is good value and quality. You can grab a refillable Pepsi, coffee or fruit juices and there's a well stocked bar. Overall I've found the drink selection is great and usually do grab a refillable Pepsi. I greatly enjoy the carvery and have found the portions to always be generous with everything warm and tasty. I should and probably will give the breakfast a go one day but so far haven't had the time to.
Reasonably priced for the portion size. Not necessarily great for the veg a bit overcooked but the meat was very nice and the Yorkshire puds were enormous! Friendly and helpful waitress, put a candle in a dessert for a birthday within our party.Food: 4/5
We had a very pleasant time, the food was great and the service was perfect. Our waitress was very polite and attentive even though it was very busy. The only thing I think you could improve on is having lamb more often as it was delicious
Always very pleasant, waitress was absolutely lovely. The chef at the food bar was really lovely made the experience overall amazing very accommodating as I had a two year old in my arms while getting my food as well his service he provided was 10/10 . It’s a lovely place to go if you have children very family friendly. Kid-friendliness: Always feels very family friendly when taking any of the children here . Menu is great for kids and very fairly priced . The kids love it . Dietary restrictions: Toby carvery is amazing if you are a coeliac for there dinners , maybe not as many options for dessert but food is amazing . Always options on the menu so great place to go .
The food here is always nice, a good selection of vegetables at the carvery and hot. The staff are very helpful and on this occasion found a better table as my friend needs level flooring. Our waitress discreetly waited and helped to carry a meal to the table so we could all eat together. Our waitress was Kirsty A big tgank you to her. Kid-friendliness: There were plenty of family groups which seemed relaxed and happy. Parking: The parking can be busy but we always get a space when we arrive 7pm ish Wheelchair accessibility: The doors can be opened wide and when you book ask for a tabke on the level Dietary restrictions: The menus have dietary signs
Food was bland and veg hard . The waitress was very friendly and approachable however the manager I assume was manager was walking around in tracksuit bottoms and trainers and did not seem professional welcoming at all . If this is how ur management dress then I feel this sets the standards for the entire restaurant....which felt poor . Service felt rushed and seating very over crowded ...booked for wedding anniversary and was just not happy with the overall atmosphere and quality of food . Have eaten here many times before but on this occasion I really felt food quality was poor and bland. Also disappointed with the menu choice for starters ....with much less on offer than usual ...no pate...no cheese etc . Won't be coming back here unless menu or front of house staff improve . Vegetarian options: Options availble Parking: Full car park hard to park
I have visited Toby Carvery as a birthday meal and I have to say the food was cooked very well however it was tasteless . All the veggies had no flavour and the gravy was as runny as water with no seasoning whatsoever it was a shame really as I love the carvery and have been quite few times and food was always very tasty. Not sure what happened on this occasions . Quite few other diners where complaining about the same thing so it’s definitely something to look into
