Amazing place. First time of visiting Upfest this year, and just great to experience the artistic atmosphere in this place. Buzzing, busy, full of talent. Even did a lino cutting workshop whilst there, with Shannon...enjoyed that as first time of doing too. Gleaned loads of artistic knowledge and advice watching and talking to some of the artists creating works there. Great bar and service too. Music entertaining.
Love this venue. Great coffee and music. And Southville is such a fab town.
Best for dry/warm days!nOn days where you can sit outside, there suddenly becomes twice as much seating.nInside, there is the main room and 'a snug' to the right of the bar to the left of the big chalk board. The snug can't be booked for small events, when it's not booked, it's a quiet room - no children allowed.nnIn both the indoor rooms, there are limited locations that have plug sockets near them 6 and 4 I think - don't quote me.nnOutside you have a canopies area which has about 6 I think benches which could seat 6-8 in my opinionnnNot a huge menu, but food is nice, if somewhat pricey. I want to say it's vegetarian, but again, may be wrong there.nnOrder at the bar. They have a hot drink stamp card 6 stamps then get one free I thinknnWheelchair accessible.nnWill take and post pictures next time I'm there.
Good cafe bar/theatre complex.nUnfortunately bar is cashless.nHigh standard music Sunday evenings.
A great venue for seeing live theatre, comedy and other events. A very wide range of shows are available. The theatre is very comfortable and air conditioned. The shows are always very intimate as the space isn’t too large and the audience is right alongside the stage.
