I received a parking ticket for not validating my parking. We haven't been around the area for years and didn't realise there were parking meters installed. I didn't have the receipt to prove we were shopping in TK Maxx so decided to try and call the store to try my luck. I didn't think I would get much help but I was really surprised.nnMark the store manager answered the phone and he was just absolutely brilliant. Very helpful and he went over and beyond to help me with this parking fine. He couldn't find my purchase first on the tills but he actually phoned me back a couple of days later and was able to find this. He also dealt with Horizon Parking on my behalf and a week later this was cancelled.nnMark has spent a lot of his valuable time, knowing how busy they get, dealing with my issue and I can't thank him enough. He could have just said that they have nothing to do with the car park and put the phone down This is what I was expecting.nnHe is a great asset to the business and this is what you call lead by example delivering that +1 which was +10 in this instance.
Went in, then left cos it was closed. Went to Poundland instead cos we didn't actually want anything specific, just wanted to kill time.
Buyers beware when it comes to buying clothes from TK Maxx I just recently bought something which was labelled as large but when I went to put it on it turns out it is a size 12 in the UK which is classified as a small and because I had taken the labels off and washed it I cannot return it. In my opinion a label something as a large and it actually being a small is false advertising
Always buy the skinny, sugar free, syrups here as they have a good selection. Well worth looking in other departments as you never know what you will find
Great place for unusual gifts. Where else can you get almonds in blueberry flavoured chocolate, a cheap branded t-shirt, a settee and some flip flops?!nThey always have a great range of seasonal items too .. lots of Easter bunnies, Halloween plates and tea towels .. probably the largest range of non chocolate Easter items to be found anywhere and a huge and unique selection of festive decorations, so it's well worth a visit if you like going over the top during the festive season.
