Not a good experience with Timpson in wolverhampton today. Got some flat keys (non emobilizer) made few months back for a very old vehicle. Same branch charged me £8 a key at the time but today they tried to charge £15 to make the same key. When mentioned about the previous purchase for £8 a key, the guy said "no way we would have charged so less". I offered to show the old receipt which i did not have in hand, but then he said the best he will do is £10 a key. I have used this company all the time when it came to keys but it seems like they don't have set prices, but instead they charge whatever they feel like on the day. Im wondering how many times i was over charged before. 🤔🤔🤔 so people, don't forget to bargain when you go in there with your shoes or key as the chances are you are being over charged.
