Pleasantly surprised on my most recent visit. Have been many times for cakes and coffee but this time went for breakfast. Absolutely beautiful French toast, bacon was super Smokey and the bread was so thick and fluffy. Can’t recommend enough, portion size was just right. Not the cheapest breakfast in Norwich but we’ll worth it.
If you have dietary issues then Two Magpies is an option with sourdough bread as well as pastries cakes and savouries. There were 7 of us and they had no issues with orders or making sure that the food came out at the same time. The bill wss split 7 ways and, again, this was not an issue. The food looked great and tasted better. We have revisited a couple of times since and the food is still fab but the service was slow, sorry guys Dietary restrictions: Sourdough meant our party could all enjiy lunch

Sitting area decoration is pleasant, good atmosphere here. When you are tired after long shopping time, just stay here to spend a while.Food: 4/5
Best cakes in the city ,great friendly service ,clean absolutely love the new decor it's such a vibe being surrounded by all of the beautiful plants and flowers dotted around is a lovely touch.Highly recommend thank you the carrot cake was the best I've had in years
A welcome addition to the Norwich bakery scene. I was a tad disappointed with the absence of almond croissants when I visited on a cold Sunday morning, but the cinnamon swirl still hit the spot!
Lovely staff, plenty of space but still feels comfortable. Also has outdoor seating with a nice view. A great place to start a day in the city!
Perfect organic eggs, excellently cooked. Interesting bakes and fantastic sausage roll!
I think my soul left my body when I took a bite of their sausage roll. Holy moly. Probably the best sausage roll I've ever eaten!? Rich, flavoursome, and every layer of the puff pastry is CRISP and DELICIOUS. This is what every sausage roll WISHES it could be. I went back ASAP for an array of treats to share and every one was lovely. The bread pudding was amazing with a cup of tea; crammed with currants, candied peel, and spice. Lovely staff and delicious treats! Vegetarian options: From what I could see it was a solid 50:50 on veggie to meaty savoury options, and most sweet treats were veggie-friendly if not vegan.
I really didn't want to give the Two Magpies a 5 star review. So much so that I have put off reviewing them for months. Hoping that something would happen to give me cause to denigrate them with a little spiel of spite. However, nothing went to plan, I was never greeted with an expletive, or had dandelion leaves in lieu of lettuce, everything was of reasonable quality and the staff, despite working very diligently, are friendly, pleasant and professional. Though it is a little more expensive than Bread Source, Bread Source, unlike the Two Magpies, is not always up to standard, indeed, I have taken milk from cows that was warmer than a Bread Source latte. The Two Magpies with its design integrity and well heeled clientele makes me confuse Timber Hill for Notting Hill. With an independent book shop close by, I am busy writing a screen play. The plot concerns a studious young man, who inadvertently wins the heart of a famous Hollywood actress, who has come to Norwich to eat, love and prey. The movie will be called "Timber Hill" with many of the convoluted love scenes set in the Two Magpies.
Lovely breakfast, great vegan options and stuff for kids as well. In the past coffee was nothing special but recently they've added a filter which is beautiful. They have bread and cakes for sale which are sublime. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu
