This cafe has become a regular cake stop for me now and I thought the lemon loaf was pretty good…I’ve just bought the Ginger Vegan loaf and it literally melts in your mouth. So yum! Really welcoming ladies and excited for next weeks choice
Tilt is a lovely cafe, very ethical and nice staff. Sometimes their opening hours are a bit weird but can’t fault the produce or service. Lovely inside and out, I’ve even started using Bow Wow for my pooches hair cutsRecommended dishesSandwich
Love Tilt. We are not short of coffee shops at 5 Ways in Brighton but Tilt is my favourite. Good coffee, lovely vegany/veggie food that gets changed up on a regular basis, nice art, good lighting that doesn’t over do it tasteful fairy lights; so overall chilled vibe. The outside table space is pleasant when the weathers good and also has an awning cover for when it’s rainy. You can pretty much always find a seat. They sell ‘Karma cola’ too
Lovely food as usual, friendly staff and good service.Food: 5/5
Really nice place and good coffee. Smokey beans was amazing and my son loved the banana bread
BEST CAFE IN BRIGHTON. There's always loads of cake to choose from, coffee is really nice and the food is always great. They've been really on it with making customers feel safe during the pandemic, and the staff are always really friendly and chatty. The music is always right up my street. I don't normally review, but there's not many places that tick all the boxes!
Others dream of conquest, success, fear, terror or elation. I dream of banana loaf. Tilt’s is amazing, as is their coffee.
Nice local coffee shop, always good coffee.
Great Coffee - lovely friendly staff - food outstanding as always and you don't have to wait long. I meet my friends for a catch-up there and sometimes have coffee/lunch with my daughters. Great now it is bigger as more likely to get a table. Highly recommend!
After reading all the rave reviews I must admit I was disappointed. I had two overcooked fried eggs and half an under ripe avocado with a few leaves of raw baby spinach and I think that was about £7.49 for the privilege. You can get a lot more and a lot better for your money elsewhere. I would've expected cooked baby spinach and a decent portion of it, as well as more and not under ripe avocado for the money. I got the impression that they couldn't keep up with demand and would recommend streamlining their service for coffee versus food on each till. My partner had the spicy tortilla, which seemed a lot better value for money and a lot more flavourful, I tasted the mushroom and salsa, both of which were delicious, but still a bit stingey on the portion size for the price in my opinion. Especially when you compare to Joe's Café which are just great.
