We have had excellent service from Tilley and co. They had great communication - sorted us a visit within a day - came out and not only cleared the gutters but sorted our leaking balcony. They were so friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Really chuffed!
Tilley & Co gave us fast and very efficient service. We needed the job on our roof done on an immediate basis and they delivered! Thank you so much! We don't need to look for a roofing/guttering company any more
Tilley & Co did work on my roof last summer 2017. They were supposed to rebuild my half of the chimney and repair/rebuild firewalls. This year had another company come to repair firewalls on the other side of the property. They alerted me to the fact that the lead was not replaced under the chimney and it transpired that significant water had leaked into the roof space. Also the render on the firewalls was so thin it was already cracking. I employed the new company do redo parts of the job. When they cut in to the new render on the chimney there was a hole where there should have been bricks. Tilley did not cut in the new lead round the firewalls, so this had to be done again. The new roofers were highly critical of the work that was done and showed me photographic evidence. Conveniently Tilley was changing hands so that they did not have to honour the 5 year guarantee and I had to pay out a further £2.5k to redo work on-top pf the £8k that Tilley charged. Apparently Tilley and Co contract a lot of their work out. Absolutely disgusted.
They replaced my roof in Summer 2017 with a 5 year guarantee. Some ridge tiles have come off in the wind. It seems that they have stopped trading. They don't answer the phone.
I have been exceptionally impressed by Tilley's team from punctual arrival of Estimator, through realistic quotation, to Completion of remedial roof work after discovery of slipped tiles and roofing felt after 44 years of weathering. As a result I have already called them back for a total de-mossing, gutter clearing, and general clean up. It is always a pleasure to deal with a local Organisation like Tilleys that has some substance and permanence about it. I certainly would never permit flyboys with nothing more substantial than a cellphone number anywhere near my roof ! You never know what extra damage those unscrupulous cash-in-hand monkeys are doing up there. My unfortunate neighbour once let such people on his roof. It cost him £3000 just to get rid of them ! I am happy to recommend Tilleys unequivocally.
Did an excellent job cleaning up my mother in laws gutters and a few small repairs to the guttering. We're quick, nice guys and cleaned up well after themselves. I'm now having them do my own.
Great service, I like to use a local Family run business for building services. Its great to finally find a company that can offer most services under one roof.
