Having visited Tiger Cubs on Saturday evening, I can honestly say that this is just an ordinary "English" Indian Restaurant which seems to cater for people who don't know much about Indian food! Food is far from authentic and to be honest one of the worst Indian Restaurants I have visited in my 46 years!! and one of the worst "English Indians"! The decor is average and the service too,....nothing to write home about! Portions are quite small and the Chicken Pasanda is far too sweet and tasted more like a Korma, it didnt even look appealing! I'm sure there are far better Indian Restaurants in the area,....should've tried the one down the road instead, I give Tiger Cubs 3/10....Sorry!
I have dined at Tiger Cubs for many years now, and would recommend it if you like: Good, Couteous service in proper English, quality food, excellently spiced with a good range of strengths, complemented by a good house red, or ofcourse a choice of many different lagers. The ambiance is good which to me means quiet enough to have a conversation, but not "dead". The costs are pretty average, not cheap, but certainly not expensive for the quality and quantity that you get. Enjoy your next visit!
Good service but was only 6 people in at 8pm Saturday night. I wasn't impressed with the food nor was the wife. Since when does chicken tikka masala have coconut in it. If I wanted coconut I would have a korma. 2 more Indian restaurants just up the road.
Horrible food service was good.
