Nice restaurant, with good menu and friendly service. They had beautiful Cornish mussels, although the sauce was a bit insipid for my taste. The fires were cooked just right. Overall a good value dinner

Tides is a true gem. A great varied menu with interesting fish and meat dishes. The homemade chicken and tarragon pies were perfectly filled and the pastry was crunchy, the pear and almond tart was exquisite.  This was our first of many visits we suspect, a definite 10/10. Well done Tides!  Parking: Free parking in the immediate vicinity

My party of 12 for lunch was superb. All meals were hot, tasty, nicely presented and came out at once. The friendlyservice was also excellent. Cannot find fault and will definitely be back.

Pleasant friendly staff, surroundings comfortable and clean, food very good and home cooked prices fair. Always a good experience, definitely a go to place for me to have lunch especially with guests.Food: 4/5

Very nice, friendly welcome and service. Nice busy atmosphere in a small place. The food however was excellent the beef bourguignon comes highly recommend as is the Torbay Sole. If your in the area, book first as there aren't many tables, go and try.

We visited Tides for breakfast on my wife's birthday, a Tuesday morning, the service was friendly, the food tasty, there was a birthday sausage and there was a good atmosphere. A lovely local eatery.Food: 4/5

I booked for 3 people for lunch on a Friday and the service was great. The food, 2 beef bourgogne and a Vegetable Omelette with Chorizo was ok. Good value and very popular.Food: 4/5
