We stayed for one night as we were in Mumbles visiting friends. This really is a B&B Guesthouse as they used to be, quaint, clean, friendly and with a smashing breakfast cooked freshly to order. The proprietor couldn’t have been more accommodating, the rooms more comfortable and the whole ambience took us back in time to better days. The walk along the front left to Swansea and Right to Mumbles was lovely and within minutes if you go to Mumbles, you can be in nice restaurants, bars and cafes. We loved it and will definitely return. Rooms: Clean tidy and very comfortable Nearby activities: Very near the cafes, restaurants, pubs in Mumbles Walkability: Great walks along the seafront Food & drinks: Great freshly cooked breakfast
Stayed here for a couple of dates due to a wedding at a hotel very close by and it was just perfect! Classy decor with sparkling clean bathrooms and some of the nicest bedding/linen! The rooms were spacious with plenty to offer from a smart tv to tea/coffee making facilities with a great range! Lovely breakfast at your desired time in the morning and it was cooked to perfection. Amazing selection to choose from! A fabulous host who went above and beyond to provide for your needs. Nothing was too much trouble and made me feel very welcome. Keep doing what you’re doing! You’re amazing! I had never been to the Mumbles prior to this and I definitely will be returning and to this fabulous little guest house in a quiet and prime location. Thank you so much!!
This is a great little guest house, walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants in Mumbles. The room was spacious, with a large bed and a reception area. The breakfast service was brilliant. Our host was friendly.Rooms: 4/5
Lovely stay at this guest house Lovely hosts very welcoming. Breakfast Lovely plenty of choice. Rooms Lovely decorated and comfortable and only a 10,minutes walk to the town . Rooms: Beautifully decorated we had sea view room. Nearby activities: 10,minutes walk along the seafront to local bars and restaurants. Walkability: Walk along the seafront from the bed and breakfast as its a sea front location.
My partner and I recently had a 2 night stay at Tides Reach guest house in Mumbles, and it was superb. The location is excellent, over looking Mumbles bay, and within easy walking distance of the many bars, cafe's and restaurants on offer in the Oystermouth area. Our room was decorated to a high standard, a lovely shower room, and tea and coffee facilities, replenished when required. The breakfast was amazing, with so much to choose from. But for us, it was the host Metin, that made this stay something special. Prior to arriving, I contacted him for some information. He was extremely polite, answered my queries immediately, and I felt an instant connection with him, one that said this person was all about giving his guests the very best of an experience. He went above and beyond what anyone could expect, and was happy to replenish coffee, toast or whatever we requested, at breakfast. His friendly nature and conversation were the traits of a host whose only aim is to please and provide for anything and everything that his guests could possibly want, from a weekend in such beautiful surroundings. We cannot speak highly enough of Metin, and for a truly wonderful experience, look no further than Tides Reach guest house in Mumbles ... for an unforgettable stay! Many thanks, Nigel & Janet
Lovely, homely B&B apartment close to everything. Metin, the owner, is very attentive and helpful . The breakfasts are very good with lots of choice and are freshly cooked. Our room was just what we wanted. Perfect sea view, cosy, and quiet .Beautifully clean and the bed was so comfortable! We love to come back in the future.Rooms: 5/5
This is a lovely homely B&B. Metin, the owner is very attentive & goes over & beyond to make your stay as welcoming as possible. The breakfasts are very good with lots of choice & are freshly cooked. I would thoroughly recommend the fruit platter to start. Room 6 is a superior room. However, it is on the front of the property & quite noisy with traffic during the day. After saying this, I didn't have any trouble sleeping as it went very quiet at night. Food & drinks: Lots of restaurants & bars within a 10 -15 minutes walking distance.
We had a lovely 2 night stay at Tides Reach where our host, Metin was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was beautifully clean and the bed was so comfortable. The hearty breakfast kept us going all day as we explored this beautiful part of Wales. We love to come back in the future and beautiful breakfast. I highly recommend for people to go to Tides Reach such a beautiful place. Rooms: Beautiful Rhossili Bay room and view
Great location,central for the Gower,Swansea and near bus stop if not using the car,the five star of the Tides Reach can be awarded to Metin who provides a first class service and is always on the ball for his guests!!!Rooms: 5/5
Very enjoyable stay. Room and seaview were excellent. Free parking in nearby hotel was convenient. Breakfasts were great. Easy walk into the town with loads of food and drink options. Metin was very polite and attentive.Rooms: 5/5
