Beautiful period estate with great gardens and outside areas well suited for summertime. The room was excellent and the small attention to details was noticed. We had a lovely time and wouldn’t hesitate to stay over again. The staff were lovely and polite which was refreshing. The breakfast was excellent with high quality produce. Many thanks to all the staff.
This is a stunningly beautiful hotel with so many lovely touches - from the books left on the bedside tables to the unusually pretty crockery and homemade cookies left in your bedroom when you arrive. The food is absolutely incredible, the staff were lovely and the Hockney room is just the best room I've ever seen - make sure you spend some time in there just appreciating how cool it is. Such a special place to stay - thank you so much! PS Beverley town is lovely and the Puppet festival in the summer is well worth a visit!
Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel! It's impeccably clean, staff are all lovely and the rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The reason I put 4 stars is the bathroom was quite dated and had a snapped flusher on the toilet. Still worked, was just a tad scruffy. But as I say - very clean!Rooms: 4/5
Beautiful hotel and venue with friendly and helpful staff, a pleasure! Room clean and spacious with all the things you forget thrown in. Get down for breakfast too, it was locally sourced and delicious. We stayed in room 4, where apparently Edward VII played poker and farms were lost on the turn of a card!
Visited Tickton Grange for a weekend with my grandparents and it was one of the most wonderful times in the most pleasant hotel and surroundings l have had the pleasure of visiting. The staff were absolutely brilliant and helpful with attention to detail in every way. Everyone and everything was perfection. Thank you Neal
Hotel appears clean. Bedroom ok - not spacious but comfortable. Lots of younger staff. Quite a few wedding groups visiting and being catered for. Tasting menu for dinner had been carefully considered with local seasonal products and care and served by knowledgeable staff. Breakfast busy and staff inexperienced to cope with the pressure if something goes wrong resulting in several dissatisfied customers waiting to be served corrected orders. If everything goes without a hitch I am sure they can cope. Staff can be unhelpful if under pressure - witnessed this more than once.
Not very happy. We booked the garden room for my grandads funeral meal today and specified at the time of booking that we would need a vegan option at our buffet as I am lactose intolerant and vegan. The staff brought out the food and a male server showed me what I was able to have. I soon discovered the Arancini he had told me was vegan, definitely wasn’t! I was in the toilet for 2 hours being sick when I was meant to be celebrating the life of my deceased grandad. Not how I wanted today to go and I’m very disappointed. I had expected better from somewhere so highly regarded.
Wow! Had our wedding here saturday and everything was great. We cannot thank Kelly and her team enough for the great day they gave us. Everybody has commented on how beautiful the day was, nothing was too much trouble and everything went to plan. Everyone also commented on how nice the food was too. We would also like to thank maggy who was so accomodating in the several moves of our date due to covid and the last due to little feet. All in all 10 out of 10. Thanks again we will never forget our day.
Went for Afternoon tea for my mother in law's 80th birthday. Was lovely and she enjoyed it. Teenagers we were with weren't as sure as it was too posh lol. Would recommend if looking for a treat. Is quite expensive.
