Excellent Haddock and Chips cooked fresh to order, not just once but regularly.
Very nice. Had the dinner time special that was OK. Fish was a bit thin as was the batter. Still edible though. 8/10.

Just love to visit here. As I walk with a local group. It’s always nice to call for tea. I can recommend the chicken wrap. It is very delicious and filling. Very reasonable price too. I normally have just chips. But this was a lovely change.
Absolutely beautiful the cod was freshly cooked and the chips where great. First time I've been and definitely be back soon .
I had ridden about 75 miles out of a hundred mile round robin circuit from Chesterfield down to Newark then Gainsborough and basically had begun to run out of steam. Seeing the chippy to the side of the road was a godsend and that bag of chips was just enough to top me up for the last quarter of the journey. I will do the route again and I will stop by here again too. The people working there were very warm and friendly. Service with a smile. :

The large battered cod is to die for,lovely crispy batter and moist cod Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options for children Parking: Minimal parking in front of the shop
Beautiful quality fish n chips ,sat outside as they have bistro tables and chairs.
