It was my first time at Tick Tock Unlock although I have previously been to other escape rooms in Manchester. We played The Hatch and I thought it was brilliantly planned with challenging puzzles. Without giving much away, the teams are initially split into two groups and you eventually reunite in the main room. We thought this was a great idea that we've not seen in other escape rooms. Part of our group had never done one of these escape rooms before and they thoroughly enjoyed it too. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they even gave us hints which we unfortunately needed. We would definitely be back to play the zombie room in the future!
Don’t bother booking with this amateur set up! We made a booking on 1st November for the Project Pandora room as a Christmas Eve treat for our Son and even booked a Zombie to be in the room for an extra £15. The room was booked for 1pm and we turned up at 12:40pm as we were instructed to turn up early 20 minutes early. On arrival the unit was closed and locked up. I rang a number from the website and a guy answered who said he was in Liverpool but would look into why no one was on site. He called me back at 12:50pm to say someone was less than 5 mins away. No one turned up and we left the unit at 1:05pm as we weren't prepared to hang around all afternoon stood on a carpark in the freezing cold. This ruined our Christmas Eve plans and was a complete waste of a 35 mile round trip into Manchester. Having been to the likes of Breakout, Escape Rooms, etc in the past which have been tremendous our opinion of Tick Tock Unlock is one of a complete shambles. We did eventually get a refund but this didn’t make up for wasting our time as well as petrol/parking costs. We were promised a full investigation and explanation of what went wrong but haven’theard from them since – shocking customer service!
Booked into the Project Pandora minus the zombie with a group of friends. I've never done an escape room before and thought it was great! Few of my friends who've done other escape rooms also really enjoyed it, definitely recommend
Great escape room with some really friendly staff. We attempted Pandora as a group of 3 and managed to escape with just 2 minutes to spare. Would definitely recommend this place.
Very well organised and planned out. The host was great with myself and my colleagues and got us excited for the game. Have already booked again.
Really good night, not your normal start to an evening but we'll worth it. Definetley would recommend, problem solving and with a time limit makes this a great way to share time with friends or work mates.
