Stopped here when we wore masks, and there were strict rules where to walk, impressive. Again we stopped on our way to Paignton, more relaxed but very clean and welcoming and now 2024 we have stopped here again and still it is welcoming. Lots of shops, foodery, and amenities for everyone, toilets we were ab e to use normal ladies and gents but this year we used the disabled facility, excellent. Was clean and smelt nice which is important, enjoyed the experience. Thank you
I’m giving 5 stars as, apart from being very clean, well-maintained and perfectly adequate in terms of services, the staff we encountered were so kind and helpful. The first, a cleaner, who helped my mother-in-law with the Costa coffee machine. The second, Tracy the director of services, i think she said. My mother-in-law tripped in the main area and fell her length. Tracy quickly appeared, although we’d disappeared into the loos, and kindly offered to get a first-aider or help in any other way. We were very impressed.
I had an engine blow out and managed to get to the services. The staff were fantastic and immediately came to help and secure my vehicle. The lady manager from McDonald's was brilliant and so was the services manager. I'm sorry I didn't get your names. Thank you so much for all your help.
This is a 5 star motorway service. Used this stop a few times over various trips. Every trip the staff have been fantastic highly valuing the customers. When I visited WHSmiths recently I have to say that erika a shop assistant went above and beyond to ensure my visit was to a high standard. I was having car troubles and erika was very supportive in reducing my stress and helping me find what I needed to go onwards with my journey. She answered my questions, very polite and showed excellent care towards me and my little girl. Nothing was too much. I have to also mention Tracy and Daniel who also impressed me with there customer service whilst I was in the shop. I believe these staff members deserve a mention as to how professional they were throughout.
Surprised at the quality of food and drink available. Clean toilets, easy to park and generally the best services I've been to in years.
Good place to stop. Needed the HGV area to park due to length of trailer but easy to get into and out of.
Toilets were clean but they smell really bad. The McDonalds - service was terrible, and you call this fast food? There’s nothing fast about it. Zero queue, about 6/7 staff and after 5 minutes of me waiting, realised they hadn’t cooked the dippers. No apology, not even an acknowledgment as my number was yelled out as staff were too busy joking on with each other. Gets on the motorway and the ketchup dipper id ordered wasn’t even there. Not good enough
Came here at 7pm on a Monday looking for dinner and every single food place was closed except for McDonald's. The choice isn't exactly amazing when everything's open either. Intriguingly there was a patch of wall I wouldn't describe as a bench that said rest area on it. Also a corridor described as a quiet zone. Really uninspiring services
During my frequent commutes up and down the M1 this is one of my favourite services to stop at. HGV parking, clean facilities, large picnic area and a large grassed area for walking dogs. Staff are always pleasant and helpful.
Great services for food and toilet stop. Car park not very well lit up as you come in on a night time but if you can get parked on the first row next to building its better especially on dark nights
