Absolutely love this shop. Quirky and alternative a great atmosphere and some of the best clothes around. Went on one of their epic sale days so scires some bargains. Staff were very friendly and even though the shop was pre renovation it was still fab. Plenty of clothes to rummage through and some great buys.
I ordered a pair of 'Run and Fly' Sunflower dungarees for my 24yr old daughter for Christmas as she had said she was desperate to have a pair, and had been unable to get a pair as they sell out so fast.So unbeknown to her I searched and found your site. They arrived beautifully packed and on time. She absolutely loved them and is now following you on Instagram as will I. I will highly recommend your delightful shop to friends and family for mail order as we live in London.

Overall I loved this shop and there were so many great things in store with lovely displays. However I first went into the branch that is in Afflecks and I was browsing wanting to buy so many things and I loved the look of a planter so I picked it up to see the price underneath and the male at the till shouted that couldn’t pick it up but in the most rude tone. There was a small ‘don't touch’ sign which I honestly didn’t see but he could have said it in a much nicer way to me. I was quite taken a back so I put my items back and walked out of the shop and didn’t get anything from the Afflecks store. There are also “don’t touch signs” on the clothes which I was very confused by as I wasn’t able to see the sizing without touching them. The same man at the desk was also rude to my boyfriend when he politely asked him if he knew where another store within Afflecks was. Some people need to learn manners. I later walked past the actual thunder egg store and went in and bought the items I wanted in the Afflecks store and the staff in there were very kind and gave much better service than the male worker at Afflecks. Aside from that it is a lovely shop with great items!
Lovely shop where I can always find something unusual for gifts... or myself. Brilliant range of clothing, jewellery and homewares, a Manchester NQ institution!

Without a doubt, most most favourite purveyor of glorious clothing. I usually order online as the service is so quick, but I occasionally treat myself to visiting the store as I love how helpful and friendly the staff are.
