I've recently moved to the area and joined Thrive after signing up for a free day pass. Thrive had the best amount of kit, classes and facilities in the area, hands down. Everyone is so nice and friendly, from the staff to other members. My last gym charged over double what i'm paying here and wasn't half as good, it's amazing value for money! I've never been to a gym before where I can go to a class, have a sauna and smoothie bar under one roof! What's not to love?
Good equipment although if you workout past 8pm you can’t get a shower after using it! Showers and sauna both closed by 8. They claim it’s due to their cleaning team quitting. Where’s the membership reduction as compensation? You’ve got one less cost without the cleaning team that would be factored into each membership until you contract a new team.
Gym kit is really good , everything bar that is shocking mould and stuff in the sauna to be paying 35-40 a month for a sauna what cannot be maintained is a joke.. said it is due to losing a cleaner but the gym doesn’t have it regularly cleaned saunas should be cleaned every few hours not once a day.. strange smell in there too past a certain time hygiene is non existence in the gym shocking excuses about it too about “losing a cleaner” the owner and management team really need to start listening on this as it’s not just me who thinks this
My wife is disabled, and has been recommended to join a gym. We have been to this gym twice to make enquiries, and on both occasions we were unable to park in a disabled bay, as EVERY BAY had a car parked in it. Not one of these cars were displaying badges, in fact, as we arrived, a young, fit, 20 something was getting out of his car after parking in a disabled bay.nIf you are disabled, DO NOT join this gym, as they do not care about you!!!!nOver 1 week later, and the management can’t be bothered to respond…..says a lot!!!
Great gym, atmosphere and service is phanomanel, very broad range of equipment as to be expected. Also very busy from 6-7 on weekdays. Only gripe is the lat pulldown machines are a bit awkward to use if youre over 6 foot, just can not get a full stretch in before the machine re racks itself.
