"We are a vegan & vegetarian restaurant café:bar located in bustling Bruntsfield, Edinburgh. We have a simple mission; to serve up fresh, vibrant vegan & veggie food in a relaxed and welcoming environment, topped off with cracking craft brews, vegan wines and banging cocktails. We want everyone - whether you are a carnivore, herbivore or otherwise, to think of our food not as just vegan & veggie, but what it really means to have good wholesome food that makes you forget all your assumptions of a plant-based diet. We can't wait to have you join our conversation!"

I loved this place. Nice coffee and several options for brunch and breakfast. I chose the porridge and my partner went for a mushroom toast. Both dishes were well prepared, good in size and flavorful. Price wise I would say it's average. The place is nicely decorated and the service received from the team was outstanding. Last but definitely not least! they have only one toilet but it was very clean and with a very interesting organic and eco friendly soap that I loved using. 100% recommended!
Great vegan options and food came out nice and hot. The thrive breakfast had a nice variety of foods and probably the best vegan haggis I had all weekend. The French toast was also lovely - moist on the inside and crispy on the out!
Nice little place that makes genuinely interesting and tasty vegan and vegetarian food. The staff are lovely too! A great place to visit to fill up with food and feel good about yourself at the same time. The full breakfast gets a special mention!
Sloppy Joe in the front. Dirty fries in the bowl. Saytan burger in the back. This place is a real gem in the city. The staff are unbelievably friendly and are part of the entire experience. My favourite food is steak so I'm not really the target demographic, but this is just amazing food for everyone. Put your preconceptions to one side and enjoy some good, honest, fresh food.
Well done cafe with plenty of items to choose from for a late afternoon or early evening graze. We enjoyed a beer, hot chocolate and hummus/roast peppers/dried tomatoes/green and black olives. Nice bread to dunk in the pesto, olive oil and basalmic vinegar.
Gorgeous food. Lovely staff. Will definitely be back. So much on the menu. And great to see it's dog friendly
Not good. The best things about the place are the design, the plants outside, and the music. Service was friendly, but jeez the food was not good. Big portions, but everything we ordered was either quite bland or frankly unpleasant. Shout out to the sweet potato hummus, only thing we enjoyed. It's a shame because it just doesn't showcase what simple but beautiful vegetables can offer when they're treated well.
Food was fresh but not great. I had the chili nachos and couldn't finish half of it. Husband had a seitan burger which he didn't like. We shared a tomato soup which we agreed was fine but nothing special. We've eaten at many vegan restaurants so we have an idea of what to expect, and this was very underwhelming. Great atmosphere though!
Absolutely delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. We had teriyaki tofu with noodles, and a kale Caesar salad with dirty fries. Both were outstanding. Big portions which sadly left no room for the tempting pudding menu. Good beer list too.
Top marks! This was a bad review, gone good. Really glad we gave this place a second chance and it deserves top marks. This is a great mainly vegan restaurant in a great location. The food is interesting, light and tasty and service is excellent. Would encourage anyone to go here, you won't be disappointed.
