Did like this pub until we went in on a Sunday for a few drinks and wondered if they had nibbles to which the manager rudely replied to no only Sunday roasts and there’s no tables left. I then went to get some more drinks the manager said how can I help and as I started to say my order he just rudely walked away to which the girl behind the bar was apologetic for and said we’ve had a cancellation on roast dinner if you would like a table but the manager was really rude because we had to sit else where as we had a dog with us. We got the impression we weren’t wanted there, probably because of last time we were in there and sent the food back because the wings came out covered in BBQ even though we asked it not to be and when the wings did come out they were burnt to a crisp but we were tired of sending it back, wouldn’t have even given them that to my dog. Very rude
Pub looks great, good atmosphere, food amazing. Jason always makes you feel welcome
A nice friendly welcome had few drinks at a good price The friendly atmosphere didn't eat but the food looked good and plentiful It might be a good idea to book a meal as it got busy early

Went there for an evening of live music, the bar was full of empty dirty glasses, no-one came to clear up all evening, when it was mentioned to the bar manager he was not interested and walked away while my wife was still talking to him. Place looked unkempt and messy.Car park had wood chippings in two of its bays and generally looked messy. We will NOT be going back there.

Great pub , friendly staff that are very helpful and the perfect place for a Christmas Eve.
Pub has improved a lot in last few years with new landlord who’s put plenty of work into it. Has the best beer garden in the village with a great playground area the kids love. Good standard pub food and selection of beers with friendly staff make it a good pub to visit on a hot day.
Friendly staff and value for money menu.
Proper English village pub, homely food, friendly, good for kids, dogs, a drink or a bite to eat. Great outdoors play area, pool table. Cheap for what you get. Really good size portions and meal of the day offers.
