Three Pigeons Inn

We called in on the off chance there was a table free. And they managed to get us in. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the chicken skewer and all I can say was the portion was huge. I have a good appetite but couldn't finish it. My husband had the pie and again, very good portion. Such tasty, hot home cooked food. Thank you we really enjoyed it

My boyfriend and I are staying nearby and this place was one of the only pubs open for dinner on a Monday. We were AMAZED at the food, it was absolutely delicious. It seems a bit to rogue, it’s very remote but the cuisine is unreal. It’s an all German menu, the Krakauer bratwurst was so, so good and the portions are very generous. I had the onion soup as a main and it was more than enough for me, it was as equally delicious. The staff are so friendly and wonderful, we had a great time there and if we are ever in this neck of the woods again will definitely visit again. The meals are incredible value for money as well. Could not recommend this place enough, it’s 10/10, an excellent place to eat and have a pint.

Loved this place! Such a find! Food from the portions, to the taste were fantastic. Nicest food we have had in a very long time. Could not fault in anyway If you're looking for a cosy pub, with great food and really lovely down to earth owners, this place is a must Will definitely be going back

Excellent hosts,,lovely olde pub with German menu. Food was German and very nice cooked by the owner herself from her mums receipts. Great games room with pool and darts,, ample parking and outside terrace. Something different will return

We had a wonderful dinner in this lovely location, good people who made us welcome and served up excellent food in way too large portions. Great value and something different for a change as the German menu is not common in the UK but here in Wales is perfect.

We went to the Three Pigeons in Ruthin today. What a lovely place! The people are so friendly & the food! What can I say?? Large portions & cooked from fresh, so good. I had the Spicy chicken skewers with salad, & homemade flat bread. My husband had the Spicy chickenbreast with risotto & mederterranian vegetables. The food is do tasty! We did have starters but not needed as main meals are more than enough. Thank you, we enjoyed.

Nice old pub with the possibility to sit outside with great view to the countryside. Friendly staff, always good music and really great food. The food is partially German influenced such as 'Jägerschnitzel' or 'Roulade' ! Don't miss out on tasting it !!!

Lovely beer and friendly I think he was the owner. Haven't been here for a while it was great to be back and definitely will be returning

Absolutely criminal that this place wasn't more popular. Super friendly owner and staff. Portion sizes were huge. At first glance the menu doesn't look like much, but the food was great. Highly recommended this hidden out of the way gem.
