Booked for a family Sunday lunch seven of us and it was exactly as I'd hoped - super service, delicious roasts choice of beef, chicken or port or a trio of the meats and a fair price too. Thoroughly lovely from start to finish. Would recommend and will be going again!
What an amazing find , great staff, amazing food and comfy beds. The lady behind the bar was amazing even shared her chocolate. Beer was fresh and can't rave enough about the food. Take note a real pub with real people 10/10Rooms: 5/5
I really liked the atmosphere. Only called in for drinks with friends, but we found a nice corner with big, comfortable armchairs to chat without having to shout over music or loud people. The only thing was that we left to go for food and when we came back a while later they'd closed for the evening. Staff were friendly though, and let us know the situation.
Warm, friendly staff, a great atmosphere and delicious Sunday lunch. We've been twice so far and will definitely return. It's great that doggies are welcome too
Stayed at the inn one night. Comfy space. Radiator wasn’t working so they provided a space heater which kept things comfortable. Shampoo and conditioner provided weren’t great, but they were provided, which many places don’t do anymore. I forgot to ask for the Wi-Fi code and the room barely had any mobile connection. The check out process wasn’t very clear. The walls were thin enough that I could hear the other guests’ several alarms. Overall, I had a positive experience, but it could have been improved.
Had Mother's Day Sunday roast and it was fantastic. Huge portions, great food and really helpful, friendly staff. Lovely pub.Rooms: 4/5
Lovely pub, we used the function room which is very nice! Peaceful, private and it has a sound system. The food was great and the service was brilliant, we pre-ordered our food and everything was well organised.
I waited with my wife at the bar for nearly 8 minutes before someone turned up at the bar. I was told to pick a table and someone would be over. 20 minutes later I decided to leave without so much as a drink I didn’t even get to see the menu, as I was leaving I noticed the barmaid serving others who came in behind us. 28 minutes I’ve lost.
Beautiful, absolutely adorable place, .friendly staff and the best meal I have had for ages.... Thank you ever so much!!! Will be bak soon...Rooms: 5/5
