Lovely meal to celebrate my father in laws 60th birthday. Table of nine of us including two children. Staff were lovely, very polite and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Vegetables were slightly undercooked for our taste, and portions were a little stingy, but food tasted fantastic!

Visited Dec2017. Good honest pub grub, fine for lunch. Take own handsoap, though: they've not filled the soap dispensers in the two annual visits of 2016 and 2017.

I booked a table at this pub, giving several weeks notice. I asked for a certain alcohol free wine, a gluten free sweet and to my disgust neither were available on the night. This ruined our golden wedding plans and despite excellent service from the staff I cannot see me using the pub again
