Wonderful pub lunch. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Definitely will return to the area to walk.
Huge garden with fantastic views over South Downs. Tiny old pub with good beer and wine selection. A favourite.
Located in a setting that takes your breath away! We sat outside for our beer and food. I think I had braised lamb with apricots and possibly apple, definitely a bit fruity! Very nice but a bit on the sweet side in hindsight. I suffered with food envy for my friend's chicken ceasar salad which looked tremendous!
Always fabulous! Beautiful charming pub, gorgeous garden with roses, chickens and a stunning view of the South Downs. Sue is wonderful and all the staff are great
A quintessential English Country Pub. Roses around the door, large pub garden, lovely views and nice beer. We stopped here looking for help after a mechanical failure whilst cycling the South Downs, the staff went above and beyond to help us. We also enjoyed a few drinks as well with some locals. I will definitely visit again.
Stunning views, good outside seating and good food
Big garden, good beer, nice food. Car parking tight on popular days but overflow nearby.
Good food and COVID-19 aware. I would recommend it for an evening meal.
