Such a delightful pub with amazing views! Beautiful tranquil garden with lots of hidden gems. Food delicious, crab salad really tasty, definitely worth a visit with fantastic nearby walks in surrounding areas.Food: 5/5
Quintessential English country pub with food and service so inviting you'll want to visit again. If you'd never been to a country pub and had only an idyllic picture of what it would be...look no further. Cosy fires, real ale from the barrel, friendliest of greeting, garden with beautiful views, food to tell others about. Dog friendly and car park. Although recommended long walk from Harting Down. But if you want a table and food you really must book ahead. Dont look for fancy web site booking; pick up a phone and speak old school! Parking: Car park gets busy at peak times. But plenty nearby too.
visited for lunch a couple of weeks ago. Outstanding views and garden setting. Sue and her team made us feel very welcome. Food was fantastic and service prompt and friendly.Food: 5/5

Such a lovely pub. A warm and friendly reception, really lovely food, locally sourced ingredients and stunning views from the large garden. A cozy fire inside and out! I couldn't recommend it more highly. I only wish I lived closer! Dietary restrictions: A chat with the proprietors and kitchen staff and they'll do all they can to accommodate.
No vegetarian or vegan options - very odd in 2024! The beer garden is stunning, however, the locals not bar staff were rude and created an unpleasant atmosphere. We were a group of 10 and left after one drink without ordering food. Vegetarian options: No veggie or vegan options. Go elsewhere. Kid-friendliness: No.
Have been going here for years! Service and food never changes. Think a few recent reviews possibly about other “three horseshoes” 3 in the area as never known them to do pork belly or pizza! Food: 5/5
Really nice evening. There was a lovely seating area overlooking the southdowns we had a delicious meal. All the staff were really friendly. There was a fire with seats around and chickens roaming the garden. In the bar they were selling local products and we tried locally made limoncello which turned out to be the nicest I have had. We look forward to visiting again.
Beautiful place with helpful friendly staff. The food was delicious…we had pork belly roast and cheesecake for desert. Absolutely amazing!Food: 5/5
Beautiful pub with lovely views and cute chickens. Unfortunately made to feel very unwelcome, not even a thank you for bringing our glasses back from the bottom of the garden.
