Let me tell you. Their Jamaican breakfast Ackee and Saltfish and Callaloo and Saltfish with the dumplings, yam and banana will knock your socks off. This place right here serves the best I’ve ever had even while traveling all throughout Jamaica! Their porridge is delicious as well. Trust me, try the breakfast!!! I’ve been eating their Jamaican breakfast for 3 years, never disappoints. Love this place for a traditional breakfast. Better choice is where it’s at for Breakfast!!
Ordered a medium pepper steak dinner and received stew beef instead server insisted it was pepper steak.Charge me $15 purchase and they give me one napkin.

The plantain porridge was good but they gave me the same porridge for hominy corn. The jerk chicken was dry and spicy. Should've listened to the reviews they weren't wrong lol. Cabbage and rice lacked flavor.
The white rice was rushed and tasted like the bottom of the pot. The mac and cheese is a disgrace to the name. The goat is way over cooked and i can't even understand what kind of steam vegetables these are. I'd put 0 stars if i could. I do not recommend.
Food was overpriced and stewed chicken was dry and tough, if that’s possible? Also they obviously don’t like white people. Very rude, seemed like he didn’t want our business, everything we asked for he said he was out of. Then we asked for a to go container for hot sauce and he said he didn’t have any, I pointed out a stack of to go cups and asked for 1, he said “no” and made the cutting of the throat gesture with his hand. Wow, Anyhow, there’s way better Jamaican food in Rochester, and most are glad to take your money and are very friendly , regardless of your skin color. I they don’t need the business here, so I won’t be going back.
POOR SERVICE, SKIMPY FOOD & OVERPRICED! I've tried to give this restaurant chances over the years and sadly everytime I've gone it's been a poor experience. One time they ran out of most of the components of a combo dumplings, cabbage, salad and filled my plate 85% rice and the rest meat and still charged me FULL PRICE! smh Another time I ordered a small which cost $8 and they only put enough food in it for a $2 plate and on top of that the chicken was dry and didn't have any flavor in it. How does anyone cook STEWED CHICKEN & make it TOUGH and DRY!?‍ The only thing that I've enjoyed is their cowfoot soup. Other than that, I DO NOT recommend this restaurant!
Oxtail favor is great but tough. Really tough. Needs 3 more hours of cooking. Plus one of our beef patties was clearly burnt and they served it anyway. No thanks.
GREAT food!! I stopped here on the way back home to Cleveland and I was glad!! Authentic Jamaican cuisine finally! Wish we had this place In Cleveland! The oxtails and curry chicken was banging!! So flavorful and I Highly recommend!!
The food is good but I went in there sick had a wrap around my head to prep text my ears same as any woman can have in other he took my order then said before he serve me I have to take my wrap off I asked so you don’t want my money because I’m sick? He say no you just need to take that off so I left he is so very disrespectful and inconsiderate I been a customers for over 5 years used to go every morning to get porridge but now I will never go and I’m calling the health department and the division of human rights for discrimination
