My friend and I came here for a meal and a catch up. I hadn't been in years. Such a lovely atmosphere. Love the "proper old style pub" feel, the fire and Shaun the dog. Food was lovely, great service, really appreciated being able to have a proper cup of coffee after the meal. Our waitress was great. Highly recommend this placeService: 5/5

A very warm welcome from the new owners. So accommodating, it was lovely to stay at the Thornton Hunt Inn again. Clean, comfortable en suite rooms and generous breakfasts with quality ingredients. I work away alot so spend a considerable amount of my time at various hotels, B&B's and Inn's throughout the UK. I can hand on heart say that from the owners to the staff, Shaun the sheepdog, pub, food and rooms, locals and location this is the warmest and most welcoming place I have ever stayed! The fact this is my 5th week on the trot that I have stayed here speaks volumes. You will not regret staying here and you will want to return at the soonest opportunity I guarantee you that. Even once my time here is done I know I shall return in my own personal time. I can't recommend this Inn enough. Thank you Dene, Rob, Shaun and all the staff!
From walking in to leaving Very friendly, great customer service. We were a group of 7, food choice of home cooking and mixture of fish, meat and vegetarian. One of our party had dietary requirements which was not a problem. Beer and wine list excellent. Last but not least service at the table by the waitresses was really good. Thanks to all great night, well recommended
