Had been meaning to visit the library for several years, and finally managed to earlier this year to work on some essays and review articles on a personal device.nnThe view towards the road and nearby garden is lovely, especially in the sunny months.nnHowever, this is for sure the loudest library I have ever visited. Staff were ironically the loudest, and the echo in the reception area made this much worse...nnSelection of books on the shelves felt catered to young adult readers, with a significant lack of more classic reading. Perhaps this further emphasises that this library is better suited for children as many have pointed out...

Good library with Good toilet facilities and some study areas

Thornton Heath library is much less formal than many central libraries. My visit on a Saturday led me into the sounds of children playing, people chatting while they browsed their choice of books and magazines and librarians rendering assistance to what seemed an endless queue of enquiries. A lively and exciting place to visit.
