Accesssibility Bus journey, 15 min to town centre Information on site There was a massive confusion amongst all customers about the £6.80 park & ride family ticket machine. Many read about it online, but no one new where it was! I’ll post two photos of parking machines. The most obvious, 5 machines easy to find will not give you the discounted 2in1 ticket. The other photo shows the location of the discounted ticket machine. This is located by the bus stop marked with red arrow and - as well as the parking ticket-, it gives you a return bus ticket for 2 adults and 3 children for £6.80 Enjoy your day at Oxford!
Very good Park and Ride, toilets available, you can get a cup of coffee, easy to follow ticket machines you need to remember your Reg no.! and the buses into Oxford are very regular, clean and comfy. You keep your ticket, don't need to display it in the car - perfect for a 3 night stay with max 72 hours stay allowed PS you want bus 400 to get to the centre of the city, far right side of the building as you look at my 1st picture coming from the main road
A decent parking area. But £5 for parking and 2 adults bus return, £5 more for 2 further adults on the bus. So as cheap 2 bring 2 cars which defeats the point surely?
I first used this park and ride back when it was some scrub land and a piece of pavement which served as a bus stop. It now has easy and plentiful parking, easy access, a bus terminal building with clean lavatories, a snack hut and served several bus lines. It's well lit, easy to navigate, has information relating to local attractions and seating for the wait. It's light, bright and clean.
£2 for a day is good value. AND you can still pay with good old-fashioned cash. It's easy- just enter your vehicle's reg and put in the money. In the waiting area you can monitor the arrival date of your bus/coach.
It’s just ok. They use Oxford main bus service so the bus stops every 3 minutes so it’s very slow. Usually park and rides don’t stop and go straight into the city?! Also very limited space when it’s busy and declining people coming on! I would recommend maybe driving and parking in Oxford itself, you’ll save lots of time!
Plenty of spaces. Annoyingly parking on gravel as opposed to tarmac but this was a cost saving measure when it's been built. Buses run frequently into Oxford town. Parking for up to 2 adults and 4 children is £5 which is a fair price with bus included
Easy access and reasonable price but takes an age to get into the city. Bus doesn’t whisk you through traffic. Instead it just travels along with all the other cars and stops every 100yds at each and every bus stop
The information as to which stop for park and ride is unclear. The waiting area was extremely cold and toilets not pleasant. Some of the parking is on unmade rough ground, signs regarding catalytic converter thefts are a bit concerning. The bus took quite some time to get to the centre as lots of stops on the way but reasonably priced.
Best way and cheapest way to get into Oxford! Lovely new busses which all have charging points for your phone. It was faultless. Drivers all very friendly.
