I have an elderly relative who lives opposite this station who is literally harassed by the security lights along the side of the building. I do wonder if they know the legal position regarding the maximum permitted throw of the motion sensors on these lights as this elderly person is literally triggering them simply by walking down their short hallway;or by going into their bathroom. Legally the throw of the lights needs only to go up to the edge of their perimeter fence,no further. To throw a sensor beam into the private property of any adjacent building,either knowing or unknowingly,is a serious civil liberties issue. They live alone;and now that this lighting appears to have been 'tweaked' to be ultra sensitive to ANY motion within an exponential radius,are quite terrified of going out on their step after dark to even have a smoke as the lights instantly go on and place them in a spotlight like some common criminal easily seen and marked out by any local lowlife of which there are manywalking along the intersection of Kinnell Street. As a law ,I would be highly entertaining of finding out if they are cognizant of any such legal requirements pertaining to the use and misuses of these lights?
