4.5 Brand New Outlet of Sterling Furniture Tillicoultry Main Shop. Fresh and Contemporary with a smaller Product range of course. Ground & Top floor can be accessed through a pleasantly big entrance. There's also a Café Cobbs Café on the top floor, wich has a nice open air feeling but still being cosy. Coffee provided by 'Red Box Coffee'. All in all well worth a visit if you want to have a general nosie or just want to have a cuppa.
Went in to get a table that we had seen a few days earlier. On going into the sales floor, we had another look at the table and decided that was the one. The only problem was being attended to by the sales team. We stood in full view of the sales team, but unfortunately for us, the 3 sales members were sitting on the couch displays and on their smart phones enjoying each others banter. We walked past them and went to the service desk at the back of the store. I asked the girl on the desk for some sales assistance she got on the tanoy and requested someone to assist us. A sales assistant appeared from the back store to assist. I commented to the girl on the sales desk that I wasn't happy that the 3 assistants didn't even raise their heads on our arrival to the store, but unfortunately, it fell on deaf ears. I commented to the assist that was attending to us as we walked past the 3 still sitting still on their phones. He just laughed and asked what table. At that point, we just walked right out the door. No, thank you to this store. Its a real shame because I was knitting out 3 properties with quite a lot of cash to spend.
Great choice of soft furnishings. Bit pricey but good quality items. Unusual too.
Not been to Sterling furniture for years and only ever the big Tillicoultry store. Needing some new chairs so popped into the Dunfermline branch. Nice selection of items but the big plus was the staff member we spoke with. He was brilliant. I need certain things with seating being disabled and rather large, and this chap was great. He didn't mind talking and didn't judge. He even suggested trying the Tillicoultry store for a larger choice. Great experience. Pitty I can remember his name as he was excellent
Had some very nice furniture there today, clean tidy and salesmen who were helpful. Resturant was fine but a bit costly we thought. Heyho signs of the times i suppose.
Great place to buy home goods, large variety of home furnishings on sale. There is a cafe inside with customer toilets. The salesman Alan was polite and knowledgeable about the items for sale, he worked out our best options for mattress, frame, accessories, payment options etc. We bought a bed and didn't once feel pressured into the buy. Great service.
Food good. Competitive prices. Good service
Wide selection of furniture, Good staff not over powering. Prices similar to other stores. Staff very friendly, helpful when required, had my order within 10 days
Very overpriced, not the greatest selection unless you like the ultra modern look.
