We visited Drayton Manor for the first time during summer holidays. My girls aged 9 and 3.7 thoroughly enjoyed their time there. We spent most of the time in Thomas land and did a couple of other rides towards the end. We availed easy access service. The whole process of access band was smooth. The staff was friendly & helpful in every way. Zoo & play area was nice & quiet. We couldn’t explore all of the zoo with kids being exhausted. The only let down for us was the dinosaur trail. I wish the dinosaur trail to be more interactive & animated. Overall a great experience. Would love to visit again.
Great place for a day out or to stay over in their hotel, Lots of rides mostly aimed at young family's, the new ride gold rush was very smooth and had lots of ups, downs and even a backwards bit. The ride cycle changes at 2, so it's worth riding it before and after! Overall, I would highly recommend it to all families!Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
A lovely day out with something for everyone, the rollercoasters are great for teenagers, and the Thomas land was thoroughly enjoyed by the little ones. The zoo is a great addition, the Anaconda was a big surprise so definitely worth the ticket price that we paid. Food is a bit pricey so we take our own and buy drinks and donuts from there. All in all a lovely day out.
The place is great, huge! Been with my 4yo and 2yo. It has few minuses like: no clear signage for under 1m rides, you need to walk around a bit to find them, Some of the attractions are bit hidden, you can not clearly see where the entrance is Prices of souvenirs are outrageous Other than that, we had a great time, kids loved it and us adults enjoyed it even more. Would recommend if you are going with 2 kids under 4 to have 2 adults. Better to wait until both kids are over 1m high so you can ride with both of them. Will go back when kids are older to enjoy the rest and visit zoo
Absolutely loved my time. Great selection of rides available, from tame to intense. The park is incredibly well-kept and so tidy, especially around the brand new area Frontier Falls. The new rollercoaster, Gold Rush, is one of my all-time favourites. It's so unique but thrilling and immerses you into the theme. Some other highlights were the Wave, Vikings and Maelstrom. Visited during extended summer opening hours and made the most out of every minute. You can get so much done in just a day! I am eagerly awaiting my next visit to the park. Thank you for an amazing day out and hopefully many more to come!
Such a great day out for kids of all ages. Was able to enjoy rides for little and big kids. Even the rain didn't deter from the fun we had. A great place for smaller kids to gain experience and not too spread out to get around it. Thomas Land was fab!
Rides were closed 2 hours before the park itself closed, most likely due to cues, but that made it feel like we lost 2 hours of our time as we planned to stay until it closed. The rides were fantastic plenty to do for all ages. Thomas land and the zoo are great for toddlers. The viking land was great to walk through. Expensive but fun day !. You can save up to 40% on tickets if you book in advance!!.
Brilliant theme especially for kids great Thomas land there. The new gold rush ride is great and storm force 10 you do get really wet. Plenty of food areas to sit and parking is very close.Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
One of if not the best family theme parks in the UK Absolutely brilliant family theme park, wasn’t expecting this to be a thrill-filled park like some other parks in the UK however pleasantly surprised with the rides and operations here and still had a lot of fun. There are a few rides that give decent and intense forces such as “the wave” and “maelstrom” and there are a lot of fun rides you can enjoy with family such as “accelerator” coaster, “air race” spinning flat ride, “Thor” flat ride and “storm force” log flume. Also really enhoyed the brand new “Gold Rush” coaster as it has a switch track, lift hill and 2 launches, sending you backwards and forwards along a loop in the track, but it also has 2 cycles which does two different loops around the layout. That was very unique and I loved the backwards drops and hills, well themed and very fun ride. Had a good time!
We visited this place with my colleague supporting client with learning disabilities. We had a fast access pass so didn't have to wait as that can be challenging. All staff around the resort were friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed the visit. For me, as a person who doesn't do rides , was the most exciting place the Zoo. This part of the resort was much appreciated break from all that noise and people. Also we visited on one of the hottest days of the summer and the trees at the Zoo offered such a nice shade. The only thing what made me sad was and that's just my opinion that the animals didn't have much space to free roam, for example lynx , and some animals looked a bit unwell. But otherwise it was lovely little Zoo, plenty of space for kids to play and relax. I gave 4 stars just due to the bathroom issue- the toilets on the way out been flooded with stinky toilet water and the only way to get to toilets was walk through that and get the shoes soaked in that liquid see last photo. Apart from that really nice place and will be back.
