this place was just great. As I arrived the owner was getting my bags out of car and helping the kids to the room as I parked in the secure car park. Great room - had already been upgraded without asking. Showers and toilets worked great and immaculate. Beds and home comforts to match. Then dinner - all great and well priced. Kids happily playing darts and various other stuff all safely while I sipped on a wee gin and tonic. BreKfast was included - didn't expect a full Scottish - superb - we all enjoyed and staff were just top notch people who know what to do to make our stay mememorabke. Thanks 👍 See you soon

The room was very spacious, clean with a comfortable bed. The wifi wasn't very good in the room, but worked fine in the public areas. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Had a lovely stay.

Wonderful place to stay. Nick and Denise are so lovely and welcoming nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast and evening meals.. we will definitely be going back. Fully recommended.

Absolute gem of a find this place. Spotlessly clean, great food and great hosts in Nick and Denise.....they done everything possible to make our stay comfortable. My son and I will definitely be back on our next Loch/ Kayak and fishing session. Thanks for a great stay guys.

We had set out to attend the Dark Skies Observatory and booked into the Thistle Inn as it was advertised on the website, only to discover that the Thistle Inn was 30 miles further south (miles away) than we had intended to go... It was an absolutely stunning day yet the night wasn't so kind unfortunately... Taking nothing away from the Observatory, the Thistle Inn turned out to be the highlight of our trip as our hosts were genuinely the friendliest and most obliging hosts you could ever hope to encounter with the highest quality of food we have had the fortune of experiencing. The room was immaculate and the full English breakfast more than satisfying, so much so it would have been helpful if we could have booked the room another night to sleep it off! We will be returning, we just need an excuse to go back! Thank you so much Nick and Dee! In a word, fantastic!! Hopefully see you guys again soon!
